Cuckoo Clock Assembly Animation

A detailed 3D modeling of the parts and assembly of a real cuckoo clock. This was a project for Engineering 128 at UC Berkeley, an engineering 3D modeling class, and my first experience in 3D animation. I enjoyed animating so much that I decided to take on the challenge of modeling a human, and the intro of the video was the result.
Animation done on 3ds Max.

I just came across this. Fantastic! Sure, a few minor mistakes, but great! I need to find a cannon cuckoo now!

Hold up. I'm using this as reference. There isnt a second tightening nut after the minute hand? I was assuming that was a gear because no matter how much i tightened it it didnt hold the hand tight. BUT if I push down on it, it functions as intended...I thought there was a nut at the end that did that job...

Rt vc it's the ugly ,,bird,, at 3:21 ! i think, he/she hadn't the possibility to create a bird in this animation !
