Idk if you done any source 1 to source 2 mods? Rpg aka war3 mod or perhaps trikz? Source 1 was the god of mods and had the best community, cs2 will be showing to new players what was possible on source1 and how cs2 makes it great again. Love your work ❤

Weird... I figured you could have made that minecraft map "easily" in csgo. Brickbreak was already in the game pretty sure, it definitely was in css. Maybe there is something about it I don't know. I think how it was done in css is that everything was technically made of glass, since it made a glass noise when it broke. Anyway, I'm not quite sold on "already better" but I hope soon I can agree it truly is.

first map is possible with new VIS3 and it's GPU culling,that relies on mesh shading to make these hi-poly assets into meshlets

i guess you are right. mainly just worried about the new people, new cheats, new bugs and server management. the cs2 crowd can be unmanageable at certain sizes and 25k is a pretty good start.

CS2 is infinitely better than CSGO, except for the surfing problem, and the cheater problem, and the boosting problem, and the rank gap problem, and the lack of content problem, and the sub tick problem, and the fps problem. Other than those few minor issues, much better game, 12/10.

I guess that's a fresh start for people who quit the game I personally started playing Dota when CS2 got released

Ppl just arent used to the game and the tools, once they get used to it i guarantee they will like it more. Its like comparing halo 3 forge mode to halo infinites. Yes, its way WAY more complicated, but you can do much more in it than you used too

There's historical precedent for this tbh Everyone's touting CSGO as the perfect game with a perfect history, but it really wasn't At launch it was FAR worse than CS:S with a lot of similar problems as we have now Then as the years went by it became something that people could say was the premier CS experience Not to excuse Valve for this they're a multi-billion dollar company after all and they SHOULD have the experience to have foreseen & prevent this, but it's something to refer to when you see some doomer say Counter-Strike is dead tldr VALVE WHERE'S MY FUCKING ANTICHEAT

@@malif1279 very true, csgo had a very rough start just like cs2 it took like a year or two idk for valve to sort it out and for people to give the game a try, history just repeating itself.

What really gets me in CS2 is Source 2 itself. I've played around with source making maps a long time ago, and the whole brush system is a disaster. The biggest advantage in Source 2 that people are sleeping on is that you can use entire FBX models as maps themselves, you can make an entire map in blender! I've imported the whole geometry of THPS3 Los Angeles into CS2 and It loaded perfectly, that was impossible to do in CSGO. Not only that but even for a new engine you don't even need to worry too much about optimization since source 2 uses GPU Culling that does pretty much everything automatically, and if that's not enough like you mentioned in the video source 2 mesh tools are fantastic, and you can literally use it as a 3d modeler replacement since you can export everything you do in there into FBX as well. So good!

reaching a little bit with this one lol. game might look better but overall it is worse in almost every aspect. yes there is potential but how long will it take to get good.

CS2 has better load out system, better visibility and readability, better hit detection. The only problem that CS2 has is that it didn't address the core multiplayer issues of cheaters which is still a plague as it was in CSGO, and the fact that it lacked most modes and had worse server browser. The core game is way better.

@@brixxconnor3411 the loadout system literally added nothing to the game other than to remove certain guns from your choice, like the same guns are still being used lol, better visibility by crancking the brightness and contrast to the max which hurts peoples eyes after a long session, like seriously mirage looks dogshit now, better hit detection that brings in so many visual bugs that WONT be fixed cause the root problems of them are straight in the core of the system of sub tick, more cheaters than ever, worse browser, less modes, less maps, more glitches, horrible leg animations that were overcomplicated for no reason that produce more glitches than..... anything, because they literally didnt need to change them lol and last but not least, TERRIBLE PERFORMANCE

I really hope that ramp bugs don’t hurt snurfing in danger zone

This is why I was excited for CS2 and literally no other reason

Ths video has made me want to reinstall cs2, I played 3 games of matching making on release and never came back

Ive been wondering why people havent talked about community maps and servers.. it remind me of the old days in source playing ski mountain and warm cup headshot...thpse were the days. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE SKI MOUNAIN IN CS2 PLZZZZZZZ

i haven’t been able to find many NA servers even with cs2browser, and most will be just retake/deathmatch i wish there was mini game servers that actually had players or working private lobbies because being able to dick around w friends was really nice

While I wish Valve worked faster like you guys, I think this game will be 10x better than what we have now in a year or two. So much potential and as much as people dislike valve as someone who comes from EA games I have high hopes!

I wish CSS and CS:GO community maps, like surf maps, Zombie Maps, Zombie Escape, Deathrun, etc., weren't just ports from the old engine to the new. I WANT THEM TO BE MADE FROM SCRATCH AND GET THEIR FULL POTENTIAL WITH SOURCE 2. I even want them to have physics such as, for example, trees with moving leaves, glass windows breaking when fired, fabrics moving, etc.

you can, there is some kind of “private tournament mode” you just have to share the code with your friends and q and you will get in the game together. You can start in party to prevent random team

how do you setup your own community server

As it stands, CS2 is too graphically intense of a game and lowering the settings makes it look like ass, also, it makes you not be able to see people who are far away. So as much as I like all the updates, I wish I could go back and play GO so that I could still play counter strike :(

cool stuff, but this seems only good for community maps like zombie. there is a map in the wingman hubs of mapcore for example de_foroglio. it looks nice, but the amount of flowers, and plants it becomes distracting to the eye when there is so many textures. cs needs to stay clean to a certain standpoint for competitive play.

yet some cs weapons are so old modelled. Look at a M4 supressor at the supressor tip, wtf is that, yues supressors are closed if new put thats just bad graphics. same are multiple other weapons that need remodelling.

Performance also doubled since release which means quite a lot on my 3050 laptop with averages going from around 70-80 fps on release to over 150 now and the stutters got a lot better too, still wish the betworking was a bit smoother tho we dont have a wired connection to my ips at home so Im getting quite a lot of instability which was a bit better in csgo

Yeah I will say, CS2 gets too much hate, People criticize Valve so much, but they don't understand how difficult and time consuming it is to remove a ton of game modes, discontinue mac support, break an anti cheat even more than it already was, temporarily remove community servers (by temporarily I mean months and months), and last but not least, let's not forget that they took a very accessible, easy to run shooter and made it into a graphics tech demo. Cut Valve some slack, everyday they're hard at work, removing features and making the community hate the company more and more.
