Performing electronic music LIVE is harder than it looks. It's stressful. Especially if a piece of gear shuts off or glitches in the middle of a song.

I've been playing live electronic music for 25 years, and it's always...and I mean ALWAYS...way more difficult to pull off than just doing a gig with a rick band

"Just do it like this" That's basically it.
Actually bblakester69 if you really believe what you're saying, and are not just some ridiculous troll, then clearly you have no clue. Do you dis Kraftwerk and Emerson, Lake and Palmer for the way they used electronics to make music? How about Yes or Laurie Anderson? I guess if you think those artists only make crap noise then I can probably sympathise, because I'm sure life in a Medicare nursing home sucks big time. Even this Grateful Dead tour veteran who's first concert (at the age of 16) was the opening night of Led Zeppelin's legendary 1977 run at Madison Square Garden (front row centre balcony) has been absolutely BLOWN AWAY by Scott and Ken's wizardry. I suppose it could be partly due to the quality venues in which I've been lucky to see them perform (the Sunshine Theatre and a private club, both in Albuquerque, to name but two). But please, do yourself a huge favor and see those boys live before you spew such ignorance all over the internet and make a fool of yourself in the process.
Lyrics "you're doing porno/you in porno" "get it?" get it?
Yeah, uhm, I love The Crystal Method, but I always find it funny when an electronic musician "performs" "live"

Yeah, DJing is boring to watch without actual turntables.
Michael Bay looks with anamorphic lens?
DJing is so boring to watch without actual turntables.
Ridiculous, they're not musicians, nor is that noise music. Garbage.
