I saw a live set of them from 98 and they were using a Yamaha dx7 I wonder if they still use it today, i’m on the fence about buying one a lot of people swear by them. They are a cool piece of history that a lot of people used, but there’s so much out there now they can do so much more me being a beginner I would probably go with something like an Aturia minibrute or grandmother or something of that nature then again, I would like to get my hands on a DX7

Because it's their money and they can do what they want? Also they have a microKORG which is a very common affordable synth that sounds great, so they're hardly snobs are they?

Somewhere in between all plug-ins and all no comp gear is a producer with a brain that understands the role for both.

They just sound better. Me and my business partner model guitar amps and sell those profiles, nothing sounds like the real thing.

@@endfm Awkward interviewer, poor vocal audio, no actual demos of the sounds that the gear produces. Just weak.
