Karma is an old wife’s tale. There’s no Karma or good luck or bad luck, or anything else society labels as a substitute for what happens in life. Society wants us to feel good at all times regardless of what we do or how we do it. The why is very perplexed and we really don’t understand it. This is one of the end results when we’re giving free will.

In addition, he didn't accept his wive's older daughter. With all of that, they are probably thinking it could have been them on the other side!!! The friend had more emotion because she's the one who discovered the body. She also has emotions while reminiscing about how Crystal had possibly tried to frame her for murder. The ex wife seems extremely uncomfortable and awkward to be on this show, or in front of the camera. I don't know why you're expecting her to cry or sob on camera over a man she divorced a long time ago (and from what I understood, they didn't have warm, friendly relationship post divorce, anyway). As for the older "daughter", well, she wasn't his daughter. She clearly said he had rejected her and didn't want her around. So why would she be devastated about his death? Michael sounds like a good guy and a loving dad to Crystal but come on, put it in perspective. Not everybody has to cry their eyes out in front of the camera, for the greedy mob to see.

@Dog really? So, that statement 'never happens that a mental health issue on its own results in serious violence,' I refer to examples where it does and then I went on to say 'mental health issues' aren't automatically defined as being 'legally insane.' How is this comment not in relation to yours?

Honestly he could’ve saved her from this lifestyle of being institutionalized if he just accepted the fact that she needed treatment for her mental health when she was a child. It only gets worse as you get older. He was a strict father, in denial about her condition, which ultimately led up to his death. It’s really sad but honestly this could have been prevented.

Her friends didn’t know the real Crystal… what she put her parents through, THAT was the real Crystal. She had some deep and dark issues, a huge mistake her parents made was allowing her to know they disagreed on her treatment, medication and didn’t agree on how to discipline her. They divorced due to her behaviors and how to handle it. I do think her dad probably indulged her and believed alternative high school and a new residence would give her a fresh start, but obviously that won’t matter when someone is a sociopath. He seemed loving and well meaning, such a tragedy.
