3:17-3:22- This entire sequence just epitomizes everything that was wrong with Ace and how he treated Crystal. "No matter what I say, the love is gone" All of the emotional and verbal abuse that he flung at her is what made her hate him.. and the lines that you chose told the story in the best worst way possible. "I made you what you are." "Trailer trash... I pulled you out of the dump." Crystal had every damn right to hate that man. The love SHOULD be gone.

0:10-- 0:11-- Crystal's smile as Jack touches her shoulder.. the lyrics with "one that she belongs to" and how that all resonated with the scene. And obviously the jealousy on Ace's face was the icing on the cake.

Just like I thought, I loved this even more the second time through. I am always so in awe of your ability to tell a story through your edits. It is even more impressive when it's a story that's already been told and you're simply reframing it in a way to tell your own interpretation of it. That is exactly what you did here. You juxtaposed all of the horrible things that Ace put Crystal through with the things that through a shallow lense would have been seen as "romantic." You showed Crystal's growth and where she got to, how she got comfortable within herself and away from Ace. This edit was different than all of the ones that you have done before. The use of darker colors, the use of the lyrics and clips to tell a story full of dark moments and spite and vitriol from a toxic man... you created your own picture in a new way. You keep stepping up your game and it's absolutely amazing to watch every time. I love your edits so much. You already know this. This was INCREDIBLE and easily some of your best work. You get better and better and every time it makes me even more excited to see what you have next. SO HERE'S YOUR FLOWERS. YOU ABSOLUTELY DESERVE THEM. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING, ESPECIALLY IN A TIME WHERE I NEEDED IT BAD. THIS WAS AMAZING. 100/10.

I loved the amount of color and light Crystal had while almost everything with Ace was dull. You did a really great job of juxtaposing all the shit that Ace did to how it made Crystal feel and how she moved on. I’m really excited to find all of the little things that make me love your edits all the more tomorrow❤️❤️ I’m so glad that you decided and found inspo to make another edit. I love how different this one felt because the story you were trying to tell was in a negative light instead of a positive. You weren’t bringing out the best in who you were portraying. You were showing the worst of Ace and hi Crystal deserves better… and you know “the one she belongs to.” I loved this so much and I cannot wait to watch again. 0:15 "Drown in my shallow heart" as he was drunk as fck in his actual shallow heart... I loved the way this portrayed Ace and his issues.

"I guess it's not a good excuse" "Ace ain't the saying sorry type" that was perfect

1:04 "The love is gone" as she saw him do the unthinkable and she realizes what kind of man that he actually was.... and that was the moment that she knew she couldn't love him anymore.

This is outstanding. Every girl who escapes this toxic bullshit deserves a good guy like Bobby. I hope they end up together. IDGAF what happens to Ace

I personally think Bobby is better as her friend. But between Bobby *and* Ace, Bobby is a better partner for sure! He respects her & cares about her feelings- something Ace never did. I think after everything Ace did to her, she needs to heal before jumping back into romance (which is unfortunately the direction the show is not going in), and to stay away from Ace! I’m glad you enjoyed this! It was completely to show how toxic he was to her, & not at all me shipping them!

Ace is horrible and most of my hate for him is how he treated Crystal, but beyond that, he’s still horrible!

1:12 "you lost me baby" as she kisses Bobby... don't like them romantically but I love how this symbolized her actually realizing her worth outside of Ace and that she was worth more and in a sense Bobby helped her realize that

1:39 "And now she knows, she doesn't want to know me." "I provoked a volatile person" with the leg snap... JESUS this worked absolutely perfectly and retold the story in the exact way that it needed to.

2:27 YESSSS YES. I LOVED THIS.

0:28 "I never learned to use my shallow heart" AND IT WAS THE SCENE THAT ACE WATCHED HIS FATHER ABUSE JACK. THAT WAS INCREDIBLE. THE LYRICS TOLD THEIR OWN STORY WITHIN THE STORY.

0:44 "It's just something I do.. I guess it's not good excuse" and it's Ace treating Crystal like shit without even thinking about it and not apologizing and she's reaping the consequences bc of her attachment to him.... this works so damn well.

3:22 THE FACT THAT YOU ENDED THIS WITH THE PERFECT LINE OF "SHE'S JUST MY VALET." IT JUST SHOWS HOW MUCH ACE NEVER TRULY VALUED HER DESPITE HER GIVING HIM HER ENTIRE HEART. IT BROKE MY HEART ALL OVER AGAIN BECAUSE SHE DESERVED SO MUCH BETTER. I HATE ACE WITH A PASSION.
