Whisper Supremacy is quite possibly the best technical Death metal album ever made.

He sounds like a hardcore vocalist, even moves like a hardcore vocalist! But this was my favorite Cryptopsy vocalist forsure.

Same here. I like Disalvo. He reminds me of Brett Hoffman of Malevolent Creation who was almost perfectly intelligible with song like "Multiple Stab Wounds" so you always knew how brutal it was.

Whisper supremacy is a brilliant album desalvo shreds

I'm giggling like a child while watching this. This lineup was a high point in music imo. Masterful technicians and craftsmen.

Mike's take on Slit Your Guts is incredible. Really the best vocalist the band ever had.

Their level of precision on executing such degree of musical chaos live always blowns me away.

While I've never been a fan of Mike's style, I'll admit he's killing it here and he really was a good vocalist. It's also kinda cool how the band is very different with him while still being Cryptopsy.

DiSalvo needs to be in Cryptopsy.

DiSalvo is a f#$@ing beast!!! Dude always had so much energy! First time I saw him live with Cryptopsy was back in the mid 90's at Milwaukee Metalfest! I was trippin' on LSD and thought I was watching pissed off Phil Collins on stage! 🤣 but for real though, dude brought it every night!!! 🤘😡🤘

bring back Disalvo!!!! I personally thought he gave there sound a hard edge.Brutal

It's all a matter of preferenece, i like both Lord Worm and DiSalvo, whole Lord Worm gives a really good low grunting, i personally love it, and the first 2 albums are amazing, but DiSalvo also did a good job with the next 2 albums, they are all good, i like them both, but since i'm more of a low grunting guy, i rather Lord Worm.

I envision the ultimate deathmatch between Barney from Napalm death and Mike Di Salvo displaying badass bestial guttural screaming and strange stage movements.

Mike seemed so into the music. That's how you do it. What's the point of doing vocals if you're heart isn't in it? Respect. WS and ATYB are absolutely insane records.

I only saw them with Mike, Didn't like Worm when they came aorund this area last time. I love Mike he's the best vocalist

Its his style also listen to non so vile with the lyrics on hand and you will be able to follow the lines , death metal has so much forms to perform it ,and uninteligible vocals its actually one of them , the thing is to have rythm, obviously you don't like it , but its not shit, its actually insane trying to make that kind of rythm patters with low growling

I got see these guys in Ohio at the Cleveland death fest! First time I saw them and they just kicked the shit out of me...lol I believe Whisper Supremacy had just came out and i'll tell you in my opinion Mike's vocal style just fit Cryptopsy the best! Both album's he did with them to this day are my favorite! I also saw cryptopsy with lord worm twice and the new guy once. Never liked worms vocals. The new guy is good but like I said Mike's vocals just fit there style best!

Wow, you're definitely in a minority here. But so am I... I feel like Martin Lacroix was the best vocalist they had. But I feel like Mike DiSalvo gets a lot of shit that he truly does not deserve. He was great. I thought "Once Was Not" was a terrible album, but every single thing they did before that album was great to me.

Man, fuck what anybody say, DiSalvo is the best vocalist of Cryptopsy period! Lord Worm is a piece of shit compared to him. I love first two albums, but Whisper Supremacy is just on another level. And Mike fits perfectly into that style. Even the old songs here sound better when he sings them. Sheer aggression and brutality! Too bad he left after And Then You'll Beg.

Monolith Of Death I agree w you 100% Blasphemy and none so vile are awesome but Whisper Supremacy is by far my favorite Cryptopsy album too.

I do not think so I have heard And Then You'll Beg and I thought that the vocals was shit compared to the other albums, I also did not like The Unspoken King.

Definitely their best vocalist! But their current vocalist is the worst thing I've ever heard in Death Metal lol

I dont get all this disalvo fans xD if a song was made with low deep uninteligible vocals it has to be performed like that haha , making the lyrics understandable makes it lose the purpose of the vocals of the original version 🤣😁

My first time seeing Mike with Cryptopsy, I have to say he really ruins the Lord Worm songs that they do. He doesnt fit them at all
