The only real risk to crypto right now are stable coins and the the US government.

Jack Dorsey has a positive outlook and is focused on what crypto can be, Musk seems a bit focused on particular issues, that in my opinion can be solved in time. All of them however admit that the underlying technology is very strong and represents the future.

One thing I still don't understand about Crypto. I am ASKING a question--not trolling. Can't a government just NOT accept it for any reason? Won't that fix the exchange rate? Sure normal people can can use crypto and trade with each other and private corporations but won't the overall value of crypto still remain controlled by governments (by extension) if they will not accept crypto and demand that they do buisness with their legacy money? When time to do anything official with The State, everyone would have to convert to legacy currency at whatever exchange rate The State determines.

They would be shooting them selves in the foot. It would take every single gov on Earth collectively agreeing not to accept crypto for that to happen. However, it would take just one country to say they would accept it and BOOM. All blockchain innovation goes to them and they get exclusive access to a 3 trillion dollar industry as of now.

Bitcoin is a game of musical chairs not sound money principles. Banks, Corporations, and Governments own a majority of the BTC in circulation. Digital Scarcity is not so scarce now with NFTs. Theoretically u can make NFTs of Bitcoins and rehypothecate them. Bitcoin derivatives will dilute its value.

Not necessarily true. The Fiat system is on the verge of crashing because Federal Corporations (Countries) have managed the risks with an iron fist. They increase supply to weather short term storms permanently devaluing the currency. This has made people poorer and poorer to the point we no longer see a true middle class. More risk, more reward so long as one manages the risk

The thing about crypto is it's marketed as this independent, decentralized currency, but it's actually only used in a similar way to stocks, people just trade it instead of creating an economy with it. So, yeah, if you want to invest in it, like you would with stocks, then go ahead, but that still won't bring the change it was supposed to. And it will have risks, maybe different ones than what traditional assets would, but risks nonetheless. This won't change, until we buy and sell stuff with crypto as actual money.

Tbf Bitcoin is gaining value on the mid/long term, so using it to buy stuff would be dumb. That's why people say Bitcoin is virtual gold. Now crypto is already being used in DeFi. I for once went DeFi in 2021 and I'm not going back

As an ex Tesla Gigafactory employee, I can say this man has changed when he renounced his position at Tesla. I think he is just playing the billionaires game now of power and influence. I like Elon met him once but from a perceived social characteristic observation. He most definitely changed in the past 2 years, his outlook isn't the same now.

People need to separate their hate from the current generation of NFTs and Crypto from the blockchain technology itself. The reason why the technology is being heavily misused right now is because of the lack of proper regulation, but this technology is the first step to total automation which we desperately need.

Clearly you don't seem to understand the basis of crypto nor did you watch this video if you can put out a statement like this. Crypto is about decentralizing the power of the banks which you are beholden to with all your service fees and while bankers make billions of your naivety.

@@richtran Yes, like every crypo trading platform doesn't have its own ridiculous fees. You still pay short-term/long-term gains taxes on them, plus the fees which are higher than anything you would pay for selling a stock on Fidelity. Sounds like you guys can easily fall for scams.

Gold > than fiat. Gold should have been up significantly like 10x the last decade. It IS ACTUALLY a commodity held by powerful countries around the world as a financial instrument. It is real and therefore a threat to the debt based fraud fiat evil global financial system and was suppressed heavily by banks for the last decade. There have been multi billion dollar fines for illegal actions of this kind by several large and mainstream banks. Crypto is way better then gold though if it’s built right. Lol

@@DualTasticToday gold is a fundamental atomic element and crypto is a technology built on the principles of computation. I suppose you’re saying speculative investing == speculative investing? However the semi local markets they are speculated in are in no way equivalent either…

We pretty much miss the hidden world environmental adaptation heard immunity bi-product. That rides along with the actual physical inner-change of handling each others currency on a daily basis. Period... TY ha. No one sees a thing worth seeing while looking for worth in living. Laugh Out Loud
