~ ABOUT CRYPTA ~
Born in June 2019, CRYPTA is a Brazilian/Dutch Death Metal fourpiece, influenced by the old school sub-genres of the style.
The band’s lineup include Fernanda Lira (vocals & bass) and Luana Dametto (drums), both ex-members of Brazilian thrash metal band Nervosa, Sonia Anubis (lead guitars) who also plays in Cobra Spell and played formerly in the heavy metal band Burning Witches, and Tainá Bergamaschi (guitars), ex-member of Hagbard.

She's tough as Hell and damn good at what she does. I was bummed when I heard that Sonia was leaving BW but sooo glad she joined Luana, Fernanda, and Tainá in Crypta. These women were born to create (but not limited to) Death Metal in all of it's most brutal forms. I still love BW and Nervosa but THIS is where it's at. 🤘 Dametto is a badass babe and savage drummer who just keeps on getting better. I've gotta see these chicks live and hopefully survive the pit. 🤞😅

She's a beast. Effortless accuracy. She looks like she could be on her phone lol
I cannot get enough of this girl's drumming. She not only is technically clean and powerful, her parts are so memorable and iconic sounding, her drums sound natural and amazing.
Good drummers make it look easy. Luana has such economy of movement. Her head and body are so still, yet she manages to destroy the skins! Rock on! 🤟🇦🇺🤟

They have mentioned multiple times in interviews how much of a Death fan they are. I guess it would be just a matter of time for such influence to start to show up on their songs. ;)

Holy hell she is impressive ! I absolutely love Luana's drumming on this song, but there are some insane drum parts on Shades of Sorrow. Fingers crossed I'll get to see them live on their next European tour !

Talented band altogether! World class drumming! Finally Black Metal is getting a breath of fresh air (with a stench of rotten flesh, of course) on these amazingly detailed and punchy pattern switch ups from Luana Dametto! One of my top three favorite Metal Drummers of all time. I feel like this style suits you wickedly! Can’t wait for more playthrough vids.

I love it that she is motivating from her wrists, and not using just fingers to get speed. She is using a good combination of both. There is a solid power by doing that that makes her playing so connected. Can't wait to see you play live Luana!!! You guys have to play in Ohio!!!!
