I have always been split about Von's style. Does his physical performance - face, body - distract from his voice? With Garland, her distinctive poses are an integral part of her concert performances. Streisand, on the other hand, is a very quiet physical performer; the focus is more on her voice, not on her movements. But, unfortunately, Von has not really broken through. Not on TV or KZread hits. Why not? He clearly has the talent and the voice. Is his eccentric performing style holding him back?

I'm 55 and I've been all over the world and I can finally say I found my tribe. Seen them twice live now and can really say that both times I really felt part of something. Let's hear it for my tribe....PMJ!!

In Von's hands, this becomes nearly a Bond song! Amazing range and emotional expression. Julie London would be proud.

I love how the vibrato of his voice travels to his lef foot! :D Dude, you are killing it!!!!

The Orangel Peel was at capacity. I literally discovered PMJ a week before the show. My parents retired to Asheville, so we were going there for a trip already. It was the stars aligning. There are still GOOD tickets available for Raleigh on October 14

I completely agree, John Gibson! Every time I listen to his and the different musicians/vocalists he showcases I can’t get over how he’s able to find such talent. Actually I think must find him! I figure he must be the Miles Davis of his musical genre - people want to play in any group he puts together!

Im only now watching this after enjoying the song itself for a few years but I would often make hand motions to the lyrics while listening too so seeing that thats exactly what hes doing while seeing shows how well that comes through in how he sings. You can actually HEAR the boddy language without seeing it.
