Crushing & Panning Gold From Gossan Exposures!
Ғылым және технология
Five samples we took from high grade gold ore - gossan in different areas over a 100 meter long zone. All different colored material, we crush and pan for gold and to see what else is in the pan. Watch and see which pans have big gold, wire gold and sulfides. Gossan is part of a newly found gold deposit which could be a huge gold deposit with high grade gold ore.

Nice samples you pulled guys. I always enjoy seeing what you get from your samples when you pan them out. It would had been nice to see a starting weight of the ore, and the weight of the gold that came out, so we could get an idea of the grade of the ore. People like to see the numbers, specifically, Oz per ton. Thanks for the awesome videos, guys! Been watching for a long time now, and I still love to see what you come up with!
Watching this I found myself counting my fingers lol.
That grinder seems pretty amazing for what it is. . It seems like it could be hopper fed with a few parts and a dry day or area.
Awesome Video!!
Thanks for the video Justinx2...that's 21 minutes I wasn't bored!😉
Thank you!
Awesome good to see crusher at action great knowledge awesome guys as always thank u
I did notice the lack of black sands. But you did get great results with the samples. Thanks Oh, one more thing maybe you could fabricate a little hopper box to fit on your crusher, might make it easier.
Thx for video man I just paned a few samples now and got nothing but pyrite. But I found a few spots that are really good and have a bunch of gold flake its just unsafe to get to when its raining and wet so I'm anxious to get my sleucer on Monday and get alot of material and hopefully get some nuggets. Good luck to you and God bless man I watch all your videos btw 👊
Would reversing the drills direction of rotation prevent the rocks from kicking out the feed tube?
Cool video and seemingly a pretty decent claim from the amount of gold in those small samples. It was interesting to see the different shades of the five samples. I think it was sample three which appeared quite red after the crushing, and the final one was quite pale. I'm guessing that the red was more iron oxide, but was likely the cause for the paleness of the final sample?
What are you looking for black sand or gold does all your samples have gold in them and is there anything with mining
Outstanding video!! Great to see the results of your samples. Quite the lack of black sands (magnetite), like it’s all sulfides

Yes correct and theres black sand in the creek which runs through the deposit. So mineralization changes or there's more than one source..

Missing black sand.... great vid... thanks
wow very nice mister...in here we have full deposit mineral...
Thanks guys im check some ores i got for gold tmrw early in the morning wow awesome
Very cool! Black Sands and extreme oxidation missing?
Wow good looking samples ...whats the oz. per ton ?...looks rich but you never know till its done
Cool that you got gold in all the samples, what a gold rich area 😂 i know u guys will find more 👍 strange that there is No magnetite/Black sands in any of the samples, anyways good Job.
Are you planning on any bulk samples in the near future? I have a portable jaw crusher and impact crusher. Live in Ukee, would love to volunteer for the fun of it.
Have you ever used Jetdry when you pan the crushed samples, you might get more fine gold in your sample.
Might want to work on the feed pipe.. horizontal looks awquard! But wish I had one 🤪
No black sands my guys. Looks fun I need one of those
That mill feed makes me extremely tense XD If you aren't married to that case, maybe tilt the feed nozzle back a few degrees to let gravity deal with getting the rocks into the mill and then put a simple flap on top (think big rig exhaust pipe) so you don't have to leave your hand over an exposed hole.
lol struggle bus go brrrr
Very nice samples. Why the rock crusher opening is on the side and not the top? Looks to be a pain to feed it sideways. Or couldnt you turn the crusher? Nice vid you guys!!
Mountains of it too... My brother bought us one of the chainsaw crushers... Didn't notice the thing's designed for a Stihl saw. Don't got one lmao
I don’t find much quartz other than tigers on my gossin prospects either.
I would think that this ore is ideal for bioleaching. Bioleaching is a simple and effective technology for metal extraction from low-grade ores and mineral concentrates. Metal recovery from sulfide minerals is based on the activity of chemolithotrophic bacteria, mainly Thiobacillus ferrooxidans and T. thiooxidans, which convert insoluble metal sulfides into soluble metal sulfates.I believe this is the method used in Mongolia at the Oyu Tolgoi as well as South American mines..Your prospect might be easier to process because it has less copper present and not such a cold, dry climate. What was the assay on your samples?
I like your work. Please try to add a Microscopic to it and a chemical analysis if you can. Thanks I would like to know where you got the rock crusher attachment
cool rock crusher I want one
Not much heavy black sand at all, gold and sulfides are good though

Ok dropping a comment. SEND ME SOME GOLD!!! : ) I'd say its about time you went from simple prospecting to actually hunting some gold. Good deal! Make your pocket guys!
I watched quite a few of your videos and get confused. Can you help me out? 1. Are you running educational channel for others and not looking for prospecting for yourself? 2. You are searching for best land and testing in different spots to start prospecting? 3. Please add your own reason for channel. Thx for all your videos!

Their main business prospecting for other companies and people that have claims or own land. They also have a bunch of their own claims and show what they find. Sometimes they will pull out a couple tons of material for themselves if it's really high grade, or they will lease or sell a claim, depending on what they find. The geology lessons are just a freebie because he enjoys it, and what else would he fill the videos with otherwise?
Quartz?
This is really starting to look like a big mine. Big. Try some drilling if you can rent a small one yourself.
As for whats missing...black sand?
Ur grinding was like pancake flour, ur partnners looked like my 3 yr granddaughter smashed it on the pavement. Lol
For starters great video as usual. # 2 justin is fired #1 dave is set to replace lol. And my guess would be black sands only because I cheated. But most of the viewers missed the obvious of what the 2 have in common. And that would be water :)
M. Stratix answered before me..black sands...wet pans look as if you're doing concrete/plaster finishing...like making a slurry; must be some gold everywhere, drilling might also help you pinpoint a source (see comments of others below). Get your crew, make your slogan/motto "We find em, we mine em"...where's that DDB girl with the trailer and generator?
Black Sands of course
Might help if you turn the grinder so the chute is facing up instead of to the side. Maybe not in sure u must have probally tried it and maybe it didnt work well i dont know just from what i looks like from the video seems like it coulda been a little easier that way
Quartz!
I think your feed tube is mounted on the wrong side of the axle. Rotation swings up on your feed side throwing your material back up at you. On the other side the swing inside would be moving downward keeping all of your material inside and bypassing your feed chute. Just sayin that ought to solve the problem on your next build.
no black sand ??

No black sands/magnetite...? Another great video! Thanks Justin and Justin.
Calco pyrite
Did anyone mention no black sand? haha j/k ;)
The lack of Black sands
If all you're finding is sulfites that means there's no iron ore like minerals.

Takes about 10 years to get a mine going in BC. We are an exploration stage company which means we prospect and option or sell to larger private or public companies to develop. We also are hired to preform exploration work. We have only ever done small scale mining twice on a couple small high grade veins. The permitting process here takes forever and is costly generally for what we want to do so we generally try to option before then.
Everyone's talking blk sands.. Im like duh. His covid-19 gloves first thing that came to my mind.... Hahaha great video Justins...

Haha that's not why I'm wearing them. It's to help with exposure to metals and we find crushed sulfides stain the hands sometimes. We wear thick black ones all the time but this is all I had at the moment. Lol
