Wow this hit me hard.. I totally got the story and the feels .. like the anxiety of possibly behaving wrong and being not socialy accpeted really can lead to such inner pain that you defocus completly yourself from your surroundings and life and you don't really realise because you are so trapped in your mind but that lil moment he had in the mirror by accepting himself and letting go by puking that crap out jeez that got me. Been listening to this for MONTHS. But I think I only understood the meaning of this song/MV meaning for myself now. I just wanted to share My take here is that Crush's character received a comment that they're hurting and disappointing a person close to them. It doesn't have to be an SO, it could be a good friend, a family member, etc Being the good homie that they are, that person just withstood Crush's drama for so long.. But now that person is p_ssed and is at breaking point. "Why do you doubt me, when you know me best"-- Crush finally notices his effect on this person. After so many excuses ("let's talk about this tomorrow, trying to make excuses yeah"), he's hurting that person already ("Tell me to you I'm bad and hurtful"). He decides to do something about it because this person is too important to lose ("to a nobody like me, you are my whole world) Besides he's not completely enjoying life anymore either So he goes through a list of stupid things he's done -- "Making promises I cant keep, telling I'm sorry over and over again.. your face full of disappointment" Then finally he understands-- "Here I am being selfish and immature.. Because I've been busy, you're hurting.. bad, bad, bad, I'm bad" So there it is: he been busy. But "busy" with what? Is it important? (There's a hint in the pool scene: He sneezes out a ____) His stomache is a sign that something bad is inside him (Cue song break) Crush rushes home and barfs out ALL THE TOYS To me the TOYS symbolize all the entertainment or "distractions" he's been consuming. Toys are not bad at all. But maybe, instead of facing whatever dipsh_t problems he's been having, he goes off to play with friends or drinks or does social media (he did sneeze out an emoticon squeeze ball toy) or even works *EXCESSIVELY*, as implied in previous scenes (drinking too much juice, eating junk food) Crush proceeds to purge the "distractions" out his system, then he BREAKS THROUGH THE FOURTH WALL by looking at us viewers. I think it's like saying "Hey man I know YOU do this do.. But you can do this too". That we can do the work and figure out what's wrong with us too (like maybe there's an addiction you're not acknowledging? Too much YT? heh) Finally with the detox done, Crush seems healthy and heads back to his friends. He starts working his way up (uphill biking), faces, enjoys life again (cute pool diving!). Maybe this time around, he does so more awareness so he doesn't hurt the people around him anymore.. And avoid being "nappa". PS - Shoutout to his group of friends who never left him and just let him "exist" with them instead of leaving him by his lonesome. Really, sometimes you just need to feed off the energy of well-meaning people to get yourself back on your feet again Thank you for reading this far. You can do this my internet friend. I think the reason why he's sick is because he wants to end his relationship with his girl friend (aka the bike) but want's her to get fed up on him and do it. But eventually i can't take being in a wrong relationship that he ends up breaking up with her by dumping everything he thinks is wrong on to her (puking up the toys). In the end when he brings the bike back we find out that she already had a boyfriend and that's why Crush ended it with her.

I feel like Crush is very empathetic but also a workoholic person. So the efforts and sacrifices he has to make in order to be succesful in his career is really taking a toll on his closest relationships. And vice versa. I imagine he blames himself a lot. But...I love this interpretation of a guilty feeling that has no real specification in a dictionary, and maaan....the play on words!....he does that a lot lately - Cereal, Oasis, None and now Nappa. Love it! :)

노래도 좋고 뮤비도 곡이랑 너무 잘 어울리고 다 좋은데 rex orange county- sunflower랑 뮤직비디오가 너무 비슷하다는 느낌을 지울 수가 없어요.. 자전거가 중요한 오브제로 나오는 것도 그렇고 전체적인 흐름이나 색감 분위기, 수영장 배경, 초반에 신나하는 사람들 사이에 끼여서 어울리지 못하?다가 중반에 도망가는 장면이 잡히고, 또 후반부에는 같이 신나게 뛰어노는 그런 연출들ㅠㅠ 겹치는게 너무 많은 느낌이 드네요,, 오마주 아니면 우연이겠죠? 노래 너무 좋아요!
