I got to kpop thanks to khiphop and R&B, now I listen and love both, but I think this deserves more recognition in western, singers like heize, dean, crush, zico, etc... are not so popular in western as kpop is, and I think they deserve much more

y'all i finally found out the meaning of this song and mv! it's about two friends who have friendzoned each other through pranks and playing around because they are too scared to confess their feelings and they can't seem to confess it to each other. that's why they're being super playful in the mv but super affectionate in the lyrics. it's called "and july" because they know that their "friendship" is a ticking time bomb - if they continue this unhealthy behaviour, they both will get hurt (literally in the mv). they try in may and june, but finally in july, they finally talk to each other.

당시 유행했던 "썸"을 주제로 했던 R&B요소가 있는 싱잉랩. 딘과 헤이즈가 주력으로 삼았던 장르. 딘이 잘생기고 헤이즈가 예쁘기 때문에 가능한 뮤비 연출은 덤.

I honestly don't care if they ever date or get shipped or whatever....but they just look so good next to each other and their styles mix well. Like their aesthetics together are no joke. COMPLIMENTARY.

I love the retro hip hop feel the song carries. As a hip hop fan, I love hearing old samples and the way it complements the jazzy wide makes me feel like I'm in a turbulent relationship. The fact that the both of them won't admit their feelings and try to prank each other into submission is amazing. I sincerely wish these two would collaborate these two complement each other so well.

Can we Just like not compare artists. Yeah, a lot of people would appreciate it. Most of the Korean artists are really talented and deserve love just as much as Dean, don't forget that most of them can't make the music they like because their label doesn't let them. Safe to say that DEAN is ONLY underrated and deserves more recognition. No need to shade other artists. But I agree with western one. xd

Dean is an excellent composer, but his vocal abilities are not better than Ariana. He has a unique vocal colour, but that’s a bit different from technique and overall competency.

인생에서 가장 빛날때 그때의 사랑스런 고민을 표현한 노래인거같음ㅠㅠ

재수할 때 이노래 엄청 들어서 그런지 이 노래 들을 때마다 독서실에서 나왔을 때의 밤공기가 느껴짐... 원래 이런 기억 있으면 노래가 싫어진다는데 아직도 너무 좋고 7월 되면 항상 찾아듣는다 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
