I guess this means it's time to go back and get the new achievements... After ending the iberian struggle back to back to back for those achievements I really had no interest in doing so with the iranian intermezzo as well, but as always, you make it look so simple! As far as I know you're the only person producing high quality videos like this which simultaneously aid prospective speedrunners, achievement hunters, and people attempting to improve at the game more generally. They are incredibly valuable and I highly respect the hard work and dedication that you put into them

Watching the long version on your Twitch channel, I lost it when you said "I made you what you are; don't be on the wrong side". I feel like that sums up every single vassal interaction in CK 3.

I just decided to look up easy to ways to get some of the achievements for this game that i'm struggling with and The Things Love Does For Us is one of the ones I still didn't have, after watching your setup and listening to you talk about how it can take hours of restarts to get the rng I was mentally preparing myself for a terrible experience only for the very first assassination attempt to be assassins and my wife saved me on the first attempt. Thanks!

Thanks for the updated achievement guide! For the Iberia or Iberia achievements, I did it as the ERE as the Basileus in the 867 start date. I just murdered all the Caliph’s until the empire imploded and had my heir educated by an Iberian character.

After watching @sandwich8622's "Mulct Them Dry" video and poking around in the game myself, I didn't use the cancelling pilgrimage strategy but instead simply have my character goes on any activity that needs to travel across the sea (or just customize your route) and let the Vizier will use your gold to trigger an upgrade one time whenever you are on the sea. Keep doing activities to stack up the four modifiers (Notable, Remarkable, Famous and Illustrious).

from what I understand, the goal is to trigger a regency, which does happen as long as your trip takes you outside of your realm, I believe. Like I said in the video though, I don't really understand it entirely. Thanks for trying to figure it out

As far as Rich In Diversity goes, you can literally get that for free in the current patch simply by starting as the Seljuks in 1066. It pops immediately. I got it accidentally.

Great guide, right now im up to lingua franca following your strat. However I do have some questions. In 3:12:47, you mentioned that by intentionally losing an election, the HRE goes down to just some small duke and you as shown in the map here, 3:13:07. I am trying to do that, but after succession, the empire of brittania and francia is suddenly made so my heir is still an empress, and the HRE stole the kingdoms of germany/bohemia/etc from me. At 3:13:07 you mentioned that you need to hold all the kingdom titles, which I do, but HRE still gets the dejure kingdom titles anyways. I cant seem to figure out what I am doing wrong, can you please elaborate a bit on what specifics is needed for this succession to happen? Edit: Nvm I think I found the problem. Confederate partition has the text which says 'new titles may be created for younger realm heirs.' This means that even if I lose the HRE, the empires of brittania, francia and italia is made to split the realm as evenly as possible, even if only one of my daughers inherit. Switching to high partition fixed the issue and I can stay a kingdom after succession. Edit2:Well now im in a pickle. Ive been ignoring the realm and been focusing on world conquest, finally mopping up the last of africa now in early 1300's. Checking the court language, there is a lot of kingdoms using not anglic popping up because I didnt make the kingdom title before being snagged up by some upstart dukes, or just some people who has those titles from the Hunnic times. Been revoking kingdom titles until a revolt happened from my tyranny (-400 btw). Kidnapped the main rebel for a cheese victory but now there are kings in jail with titles i cant revoke because something or other, and there are still quite a few kings who didnt join the previous revolt who hates my guts who i also cant revoke because of something or other. I could attempt sudoku to reset tyranny and use my heir to start changing court languages, but how would I even do that efficiently? Theres like 10 or so kingdoms who I need to finish off before its all anglic

I always disband any event spawn troops after raising all if they aren't required to win a war, saves them for the important moments.

Ok all the heritage achievments dont work if you load and reload. Once you reload as western germanic you have to convert a child to a northern germanic culture :(

So for "like no one ever was" (finish all hastildur tracks) you just allow bad people to your tournaments?

Definitely. You can also just win relatively naturally with a high stat character. If you've got solid genetics, and a reasonably good character, you'll be the best one in the tournament almost always.

The way chess works in ck3 is each stat counters a different one (as an example I pulled out of my ass so don't take it literally, let's say you pick learning which goes vs let's say martial.) it's essentially just bigger number wins, like all of ck3. It means that it might be worth picking even your worst stat at let's say 10 if enemy counter stat is at let's say 1.

@@Tarkusarkusar That also works since player will usually have highest stats in the game due to eugenics gameplay and actually educating kids properly. (also due to how easy it is to get stupid high learning, it's usually the best option)

@tarkusarkusar Challenge: Starting as a count, in one playthrough, Raise Mann decision and complete both struggles with Iranian Resurgence and Domination. Bonuses: North Sea Empire. Just finished this, took a lot of prep and restarts, wanna see the master.

Tough one, but maybe a relatively simple achievement like "get 40 achievements in one campaign" or something, since I love to do the combo achievement runs so much

If the Austrians are refusing marriage you can always offer an immediate grand wedding and you will have well over a decade to earn the gold to pay for it and it knocks off the first grand wedding. And you're allowed to participate in offensive wars, just as long as you never once press the declare war button. Pretty simple, don't declare a war and you won't have declared a war.

I'm going to do segmented all achievement runs now, which means I'll do about 8-12 hours of runs per sitting, and do maybe 3-4 sittings, since now doing all achievement runs in just one segment is getting extreme.
