I don’t understand people who play this game but don’t like alt-history; what’s the point otherwise?

Same for the most part, but I can understand the history buffs who might want a like "historical focus" mode like in HOI4 just to make the game more predictable? To me the game thrives on unpredictability, hence why the AI aggression in new patches is so nice, even if janky.

Its a sandbox, thats the point of the game. Full historical wouldnt even let you build factories where you wanted to.
