It's amazing to me that this is the best explanation of what interest rate movements mean put into layman's terms. It's wild that comedians today often do a better job of breaking down complex issues than the news outlets.

I couldn't care less what Madison Cawthorn does in private as long as it's not hurting others. He can wear all the lingerie he wants. Love this show! To help save money my family and I have started a small backyard garden. We're learning how to homecan, seed save, make compost, and preserve what we grow. My issue with the Fed raising rates is that once consumer spending slows down, inflation won't go down. Inflation isn't just the result of consumer spending. Inflation is the result of corporate decisions not to adjust to the changes in consumer spending. It's also the result of not realizing that retailers, wholesalers, shippers and manufacturers aren't spending money on transportation costs.
