I saw a high school production of Sweeney Todd once! They did the full play, too, except for one certain song.

I live for SNL musical numbers because I know Melissa is the one who can sing, and they are going to give a righteous post bridge run that could pass for Xtina if you're not listening too hard. I watch "Welcome T Hell" all the time just for her "Nooothing gooood happens-in-uh-vaaaaaaaaaaaaan." She is basically their Sporty Spice.

1:29 reminded me of how in our highschool theatre group there were 4 boys, and some girls had a thing for them and decided to make their moves at the party after the production. These girls + me and my friend came a bit late, but when we walked into the house, the four boy were standing paired up holding hands. Apparently, while we hadn't arrived yet, two of them came out as gay and revealed that they were dating, ans then the other two stepped in and came out, too. I'm pretty sure that one of the couples dated throughout college as well. The girls were disappointed but they were happy for them at the end of the day. Well, most of them.

SNL knew every theatre nerd would be watching this and hit us where it hurts. So many details are perfect in this- the "partying until 11:45," the rumor that next year's show would be Rent... I never knew people from SNL went to my school's cast parties.
