Crucial MX500 3D NAND 4TB SATA SSD unboxing and testing on my computer. You may find the results weird but it is what it is. Nonetheless as a SATA SSD it works just as any other SATA based SSD but just more capacity.

Is the SSD still working for you. I heard this drive has a lot of failure rates and that you need some firmware update to fix it. I've seen on reddit that their recent batch has a lot of failure rates, and that it doesn't last long and may die in a year or less. What has been you're experience, have you already updated it as well, Would like a quick update and I highly appreciate it.

Is it good? I heard that Micron change the controller, bcus 2tb and 4tb are mew batch different from released

Good? yes imo, well at least for some of my old Steam games that I used it for.
Sorry, file transfer test is useless - you need much speedier source, like NVMe-SSD/RAMdisk etc. And why only 10GB tested in HDTunePro benchmark - do write benchmark too and much more capacity. Alternative to this - AIDA64 write benchmark (whole capacity testing may last some time on a 4TB SATA-SDD though).
