@@misheedawn3214 if you disconnected from the radio, you'll have to disconnect antenna and possibly wire with it . Then refish the wire under the dash. When you pull wire watch where it comes out from

You can buy a 1.8" metal rod at home depot for $2+,real sturdy. Used your video as a reference. Great video/tutorial. Thanks a lot. Just waiting on my dash kit.

great video. thanks for sharing, I did not have thick coat hangers, just the thin ones, and i still managed to get the unit out quickly {less then 2 minutes}. was worried i would have to take to whole front panel off to get the unit out. this was a piece of cake. thanks

These are for power seats, if you don't have these 8-way buttons you car has manual seat adjustments (the black bar under your seat)

This was helpful! Though this was good I suggest Crutchfield for any aftermarket parts they can walk you through The whole process, and they have 24:7 support for that! I use that. I used it for my BMW before and now I'm using them for my 2000 CVPI!

I like how you say you're too poor to buy the $3 radio removal tools but you're able to buy an after market radio and a mount for the radio lol. I'm sorry if I sound like a dick for teasing you about that but that's not my intentions. I just got a kick out of it :P

Thank you....thank you....thank you. I sincerely appreciate you posting this, especially since we have the same year / model (2005 CVPI). I couldn't believe just how small in-depth the stereo is either; but, at least you answered my other "question" in that I can have plenty of room for the aftermarket one I'm purchasing soon. (I also agree with Samuel Bullert on the too poor for $3 and purchase the stereo you have. Again, just got a kick out of it...not to insult.) Also, you have a very beautiful girlfriend. Wish you two the very best! All in all, thank you again for a great video and such a simple technique and "smart" tools removing it. Thank you. Take care and be safe. Have a GREAT day.

I have a 2008 ford CVPI with disconnected front speakers, presumably for the police who used them for their radio. I removed the front passenger side kick panel and found 4 wires (2 wired in 2 pairs) labeled RH Speaker LH Speaker. They looked like they were cut, or never stripped and put where they belong. Any idea on how to get them wired up so I have front speakers again?

+totljag1 You probably figured it out by now but you could use a prying tool, $1-2 on eBay, and remove the entire assembly and basically force the stereo out of it but you might need some elbow grease for that one.
