Crown Mountain Helicopter Rescue
Filmed, edited and submitted by Serguei Okountsev. Serguei and his friends were essential in saving the life of their injured companion. This video shows were the subject ended up after a 200 foot fall (his companions had to get him out of the moat and creek). As well it shows the rescue by NSR members. Steep terrain, marginal weather and a serious injury. Thanks Serguei for sharing!

I have no idea how this didn't pass 1M views. Great composure by the pilot
Great pilot. As a pilot myself, I will say that being able to hold a steady hover is a basic skill of any pilot. However being able to maintain composure in a situation like this with a low hover toe-in to a steep slope, where several peoples' safety/lives are dependent on the pilot's concentration/composure is a special level of skill and grace.
Fantastic flying, no other words for it, the pilot deserves an award for his determination to get the job done, which he did perfectly.
I have no idea how I found this, but good heli stuff
incredible seeing those guys in action- amazing skill. Hats off and thanks for everything you do
