Crown Hair Transplant Results - Eugenix Hair Sciences

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

www.eugenix.in
I've shown a lot of great work by Dr. Arika Bansal and Dr. Pradeep Sethi of Eugenix Hair Sciences in India but I've not focused on crown work before. I think this is one of the most crucial areas of hair restoration that far too many clinics fail to understand, which leads to a lot of disappointment among patients.
I am personally very acutely aware of how crown reconstruction should occur as I've studied crown work from the best in the business, up close, and while I've always known that Eugenix has an excellent skill set for crown reconstruction, now you're going to see for yourself in exquisite detail.

    One thing is that the crown (in general) is a large area to fill yet Eugenix are excellent in using an economy of grafts to create a fuller looking outcome. Also, most crowns can take up to 18 months to fully grow out, yet we are seeing results here in the crown 8 months later! Thanks for sharing Joe!

    Thanks, this is great content and useful stuff. I have been in touch with Eugenix about treatment recently, but I had a question. I did a consultation with Bosley, who suggested they could do about 1500 grafts with Fue (more with FUT). Eugenix told me they would 3900! I'm confused as to how there would be such a big difference (whether the terminology is different between India and the US?). I would love to know your thoughts about this and understand the legitimacy about the number of grafts. TIA! :) PS - I am somewhere between a norwood 4 - 5, with an intact hairline (yay!)

  • @hairtransplantchannel

    @hairtransplantchannel

    2 жыл бұрын

    1500 on a NW4/5 would be a start but overall it would be very see through coverage as the density would be low. 3900 is more likely to be to your final satisfaction and is what most better clinics would recommend. The terminology is roughly the same.

    What is Eugenix doing different than other clinics? Their results seem superb. The hair seems to grow from day 1 after transplant which is a revolution compared to other clinics.

  • @MrRolandas

    @MrRolandas

    That's up to individual. Every clinic could cherry pick early growers/low shed patients by going through share volume. Eugenix are just doing everything right during the surgery, hence why incredible results.

  • @hairtransplantchannel

    @hairtransplantchannel

    3 жыл бұрын

    Eugenix utilizes an approach they've developed that puts the graft into the scalp nearly immediately after extraction. They make the recipient site incisions first, then extract, which keeps most grafts out of the scalp for mere minutes. This is most likely the single biggest contributor to why they have earlier growth than a lot of other clinics. They have a lot of patients that also do not have post-surgical shedding of planted grafts and they start growing immediately (more or less).

    Hi Joe, You're looking very well. I hope that everything is going well for you and yours at this difficult time. Out of interest, if one is continuing to lose hair whilst taking 1/4 5mg generic finasteride daily (with minoxidil) for 3 years, does it make sense to try 1mg propecia? Or would you consider that to be a waste of money?

My Dr says it's because - Crown is more difficult -I have fine hair -It's hit and miss in crown area. -Less Blood flow crown area -Different hair angel crown area . Yet I see these results and I'm like -what's gone wrong? Total waste of money.

    I know the feeling. Had two FUT’s over 10 years ago which did a not bad job on other areas of the scalp but not on the crown. I’m looking into a DHI transplant most likely in Turkey now and apparently about 1800 grafts should fill the crown and surrounding area. Based on what happened with FUT I’m still nervous about whether it will work this time despite the clinic having decent examples of crown work they have done.

  • @roguefox5171

    @roguefox5171

    2 жыл бұрын

    @@scottmccrindle2404 Based on most of the results i have seen, it's very rare to see decent crown coverage with less than 2000 grafts, especially if the person has fine hair, and there is little or no native hair left in the crown. Take the blonde european guy at the end of this video, he needed 2500 grafts into the crown area. On top of everything else you need as many grafts to survive the procedure, so that pretty much rules out Turkey and 90% of the western clinics.....and you need to research a clinic/surgeon that specializes in crown work, with many years of work under his/her belt. As most hair surgeons focus on the hairline, with many clinics viewing crown work as an after thought, or of secondry importance.
