The thing that gets me is that they've both thought of the two of them as being a "them" in some way. Crowley basically saying that it's the two of them against heaven and hell in season 1 and Aziraphael referring to the Bentley as "their car" and calling it "their bookshop" in season 2. Plus them working all those little miracles for each other. You'd think that celestial beings were less oblivious.

I was also asking myself when the first time he was calling him "Angel" was. I think it was in Hiobs Home: Everything is burning and he is asking his Azi (he calls him Angel here) in a kind of angry and challenging voice, If Azi ist still daring to tust him (not literal, but in terms of content). Azi believes in him and they fall with the kids savely to the cellar ❤

When Crowley realized how calling Aziraphale “angel” sounded like to everyone.

The first time I saw Michael Sheen on screen was many years ago, on Frost/Nixon movie. Back then, I didn't know who he was. Never heard of him before. But his acting on that movie made a great impression on me. I've already forget most of the movie, but there is one scene that I still remember even now. It's the ending scene. Michael Sheen was looking to camera. He feigned innocence, but in his eyes you could tell that he was hiding his guilty feeling. When I saw that I remember thinking, "What a great actor!"

​@@tiararoxeanne1318he disappears entirely behind the characters and that is so rare to see. Only really great actors can do that. I love Tennant to bits and he's also a very good actor, don't get me wrong, but i can see Tennant when he plays a character. Michael Sheen disappears entirely.

@@bgranger_842 I think I understand what you mean. And maybe it's because we've never seen David Tennant took a more subdue character? I mean, as long as I know, all of his characters in the past were expressive and sometimes outrageous, like Crowley. Michael Sheen, on the other hand, has taken a vast amount of varied characters, from an aggressive werewolf, a manipulative man, to a cheerful & soft-hearted angel. Also Michael is very meticulous in detail. I've watched many of Aziraphael's scenes in repeat because I want to catch the details of Michael's performance: his hand movements, the way he walks, his smile, the way he looks at Crowley, his giddiness, etc. Too bad Crowley uses black sunglasses most of the time. When he took it off at the end of Season 2, we can see the pain in his eyes clearly. And it is a beautiful performance.

The most subdued I've ever seen Tennant is when he's actually himself in interviews 😂 Even when he's playing a fictionalised version of himself (Staged) he's as expressive as he is when he plays the Doctor or Crowley. Again, i love him - I think he's a very good actor and he's super charismatic (quite more than Sheen) but the performances I've seen are quite similar.

I actually think Aziraphale my realise that. Judging by his "Rescuing me makes him so happy", or his raised eyebrow in response to Shax saying "You don't seem his type at all", Aziraphale may be more aware of what's going on than he is usually willing to admit out loud. Or he might have just accepted the staring as one of Crowley's quirks :) But the lunch = date thing definitely rings true

Fun fact: Michael Sheen actually got David to perform the “I was wrong” dance multiple times and on the final take, Michael held up a score card and said “SEVEN!”

I love the fact that when people assume that Aziraphale and Crowley are a couple, Crowley deny it immediately "What? Noo, us? A couple? Never" and Aziraphale just stay quiet like "Oh shoot they know that? Woops"

Something sweet that I had not realized: at 5:09, when Crowley is saying "When Gabriel smites you, you've been..." it's Aziraphale turning and looking at him with that smile that makes him stumble. :')

As If he can't help daydreaming about Crowley and applies the word smitten to himself and his feelings for Crowley. And than "You are beeing silly". As If he is a bit shy about that almost declaration of his Love and he tries to distract Crowley. They are so adorable ❤❤❤

This needs more views. Season 2 really emphasized how oblivious they were about each other's feelings... We really need season 3 right away 😭

Sadly Neil says the earliest possible release date for season 3 (if we get it) is 2026 if the strikes end soon 😢. That would be him writing the entire season this year, filming in 2024 and then over a year of post production like last time.

I'm probably laughing too much at the subtitles saying "fetish" instead of "feet-ish". Not only Crowley thought being together in the rain was romantic, when he happened to be with Aziraphale in more than one occasion, but also Aziraphale inviting him to dance when he had said that's how people realize they love each other.

This is phenomenal editing, I am absolutely blow away! It really encapsulates not only the relationship between A & C but just how bloody brilliant Michael and David are at playing them. It's really like the characters have just stepped out of the book and onto the screen. I really hope Neil Gaiman gets to see this at some point, because he'd love it.
