Beautiful song reminds me when I was 17, it was the 90's and I had my first boyfriend. He's married to someone else now, a banker with a bald head. But Tom price you'll always be the blonde haired boy of 17 I used to know, and crowded house brings it all back.

Still in my top 10 favorite Neil songs, which is amended every time they put out a new album. But this track will never ever leave. And the video encapsulates it perfectly! One of my joys in life is dancing to this live at concerts, I’ll even flirt with the roadies/ house manager if it’s a sit down only show just so I can dance on this one song

I swear to god they could do their entire catalogue of greatest hits sung by the biggest country and western artists and it would still sound fresh and modern.

I will never, ever tire of this song. My heart skips a beat as soon as i hear the opening bars. To me it is perfection.

1997: 23 years old, living abroad, sitting on the terrace of my (rich/huge mansion on a lakeshore estate) employer in Finland near Mikkeli. Smoking ciggies on the porch and listening to this on headphones before bed, many adventures ahead of me.

Curtis W. was a ski buddy of my friend and came up with us to our chalet in Collingwood, Ontario one awful night. He's also done some videos for Canadian band "Blue Rodeo" as well. Just saw his credits her and went WHAT???? :) Crowded House is still a favourite band of mine and was lucky to see them during their Toronto stop in May 2023. Wonderful night that will I always remember.

Feel really priviledged to have seen them when they did US tour after release of ' Together Alone ' in 1994 I think at Lisner Auditorium in Washington, DC. Small venue and I was close to the stage.

This song brings tears to my eyes and reminds me of unconditional love.♥️♥️♥️ The three songwriters who get under my skin and infuse my soul are: Mark Hollis RIP, Neil Finn and Justin Currie. With all their musicians they create music that creates a bittersweet recognition in me. A gift indeed!

Love every aspect of this song. The dreamy melody and poignant lyrics, the production, Mark Hart's incredible guitar in the bridge. Its one of the best songs I've ever heard and one of the few that bring me to tears with how well its crafted.
