Yes. He has paid enough for the mistakes he made. Imagine not being able to do the thing you probably love the most in your life for 2 straight years. He made a mistake, realized and accepted his mistake, and suffered the consequences. Only if people commenting unnecessary hate on him knew closely about cricket, they would know what a respectable figure he is in the cricket world.

@@kprathamesh3564 Okay first of all I'm welcome to all kind of opinions only until they're logical, so I'm just gonna ignore the first line you've said in order to look cool. Secondly I'm not talking about who all were responsible or how big it was. We're talking about one particular player here. He was the vice captain of the Australian cricket team guilty of ball tempering and therefore he was suspended from cricket for 2 years. The punishment for such offences is decided by the International Cricket Council and if they decided that this punishment was sufficient then you and me are no one to keep humiliating the players for thier lifetime.

So let the lesson Smith said had to be learned ring loud and clear, and it was powerful. He owned up. Few do. Yes, he had no choice. Makes it worse .The more who own up (yip Australia had to be caught in the first instance) the better. The more who dont cheat the better. It would be nice if the crowd at The Ashes could also chant : "He has balls in his pants". I hate what happened but it was important for others who are tempted to follow.
