CrossRC EMO AT-4 Quick Thoughts - I like it

First look at the CrossRC EMO AT-4 Crawler and trail truck. Since I was so impressed with the CrossRC EMO X3 Recovery Truck I just had to give another CrossRC offering a try. This video is a quick overview of the truck, everything that is included in the RTR, some trailing and running footage, then final quick thoughts on the rig.

Do the JT4 and AT4 share the same chassis? I saw that CrossRC teased a new 6x6, flatbed truck with the EMO X3 cab. Very interesting!

Dude, I really like this a lot. The body does a good enough job at looking close enough to a blazer . Functionally it presses all the right buttons! Love that ground clearance too! Looks very well built!l may have to look into adding one of these to the fleet. Thanks for sharing bro!

Thanks for watching! There are definitely things to like about this truck and you are spot on, with regards to the body, but it could also be a Bronco too lol! I added a Ford sticker on the grill only because the Chevy one I had didn't look that great. I think with a 1080 ESC upgrade and better wheels, you're basically done upgrading the truck. I like the tires because they look REALLY good on the truck.

The body is definitely flimsy, and annoying to put on. The chassis seems fine enough to me. My biggest concern is the gear box not fulling engaging when switching from low to high. Makes me wonder about the longevity of the gears in the transmission.

Does your truck roll back and forth like 8 inches like mine does? How did you get your poorly designed steering to stop smashing into itself? I truly hate mine. Pushed it to the corner in the basement by the cat box. For sale 200 bucks fully assembled assembled without controller. Worst rc company by far.

I did some more testing keeping this comment in mind and the only really issue I had with it rolling back was in high gear and in reverse. There definitely is a little play with diffs unlocked. I'm not sure if they maybe did something different with the RTRs? I did see another review of this truck, built as a kit, where they had the same rolling issue as you described.
