Crossing the Peace Bridge into Canada and the Rainbow Bridge into the US (Niagara Falls by bike!)

Спорт

Beginning on the US side of the Peace Bridge, I make the border crossing on bike, stop for coffee, then ride north on the Canadian side of the Niagara river for about 19 miles before seeing Niagara Falls, taking a short detour through the tourist hotspot, and crossing the Rainbow Bridge to head back to the US.
I cut the camera for the actual border guard conversations. In both cases I crossed with the cars and only needed my Enhanced Drivers License.
Recorded on July 28th2023 with an Insta360 Go 3 camera.

Thank you so much for the comment! I originally got a camera and started recording rides because I couldn't find this video, so knowing I'm not alone is awesome. Enjoy the ride, it's shaping up to be a beautiful day

Very nice video! I'm jealous you are close to Niagara Falls. That would be awesome to do that loop taking the Peace Bridge into Canada, riding along the Niagara Parkway then going back to the USA on the Rainbow Bridge. How many total miles is that? Good job getting up Clifton Hill! You made it look easy. I visit Niagara Falls at least once a year and bring my bike along. I always dread going up Clifton Hill but refuse to get off my bike and walk it up. One year, I had a small crowd clapping for me and telling me I could do it, lol. I've only ever driven across the Peace Bridge and always wondered what it would be like walking or bicycling over. Thanks for showing it. I wish they had a bicycle only lane on Rainbow Bridge. I hate having to use the vehicle lanes to get to the state park.

Thank you for your comments! This route from my doorstep is about 45 miles, but I'm a good few miles away from the river. I think the only reason Clifton Hill looked easy was the noise from the tourism attractions covering up the huffing and puffing! That hill is no joke

@@patrick8574 Lol, but your speed going up Clifton Hill didn't seem to go below 8mph. I struggle to keep 5mph. That's cool how your map and speed is on the screen and in some of your other videos it shows your heart rate and rpm. What are you using that shows that telemetry?
