    Canadians are always welcome, but please, when you shop for clothes at the Outlet Mall here in Niagara Falls, N.Y. or other places, don't leave the boxes, packages, and other garbage thrown in the parking lots. I guess you're just trying to avoid paying any charges if you buy over a certain amount, but at least put your garbage in a dumpster or something. I know we're not as beautiful and clean as Canada is but you don't have to add to our mess. I go to Canada often and I respect your areas. Thank you.

I got her pregnant before covid , she left before the borders closed to have my kid with her mother in the us because her mom is a nurse and she felt comfortable with her fam . Well I respected that and she left in 2019 I haven’t seen her since and have yet to meet my 2 year old daughter … she’s only 30 mins away from me across the Niagara river . I was detained with my friend on our roadtrip through eastern US/Canada by homeland security. We decided to continue renting the same car and as such had 2 rental agreements. Usually US rental cars are not allowed into Canada unless it's Alamo and it's close to the border. My friend gave the rather irate officer the wrong rental agreement, the non-current one... Anyway, another highlight to our trip. Crossing over to Canada was much easier since we are Australian. After a series of standard questions we just said we are from another commonwealth country so we have an internal understanding of how one should conduct themselves in public ...no guns !

    As a Canadian citizen it’s easier to go the states crossing by land than Canadian returning home from the States lol. With the whole COVID protocols, it makes it so difficult to return to your own home than visiting a country that I’m not even a resident of. I hope it will be over soon so things will get normal. Ps. I mean by difficult it just extra effort having to fill the ArriveCAN App, even the US government stated that visitors (non immigrant) must be fully vaxxed and have to have proof to enter but they never checked or even asked!!

First of all they're not even supposed to be here. Why would you tell them you are going to Niagara on the Lake when you are crossing into the US. Nia on the Lake is Canada... why would they care where you go when you are back in Canada. Word of advise.... I live in Niagara Falls On and cross once a week or more, you should look the border guard straight in the eye, and be as descriptive as possible about your reasons for crossing with a confident voice. Any sense of uncertainty and you are asking for trouble. Your reason for travelling into the US does not sound compelling.

  • @landonp629

    @landonp629

    4 жыл бұрын

    "does not sound compelling" How more compelling can you get? I mean, they said why they were going - just a day trip for sightseeing. Canadians are allowed to do that, just as Americans are allowed to drive into Canada for a few hours to take in the sites. Trying to come up with another fake reason just to get across the border because you think your reason is not compelling is what will get you in trouble.
