    What time of year is this? I am having MAJOR Raptor 700SE II withdrawal here in Colorado due to the balmy -2F and a Sh&^load of snow :-(

    Does the light bar affect air flow to the radiator enough to caise engine temperature to rise?

    +Banshee Fever 750cc I was a little worried about that at first but it has plenty of ventilation both above and below the bar. My Banshee has never had a problem overheating and I run a temp gauge on what's left of my right front fender so I will be able to keep an eye on it this summer.

    thanks for watching. the 4 inch leds work great. no problems so far. i even put a pair on my trailer for loading at night. the banshee just got rigged with a 12 inch bar in front to replace the pair of 4 inch bars

    I was thinking about doing the same thing with the light bar, but was worried about it Overheating.

    +Banshee Fever 750cc I think it should be okay but my banshee is stock. the light bar is only a couple of inches tall.

    Do you have a air box on your banshee, the air box is messed up on my quad and I just want to run open filter, I ride in the same conditions as you.

    Yeah I just run a single carb with a clamp on UNI Filter and an outer wear pre filter. The pre filter keeps a little water off but I am always nervous at water crossings. Need to get a single carb stock box adapter.

    I havea a question, how do u keep ur plastics from getting scratched .. its that candy paint

  • @trailblogger

    @trailblogger

    9 жыл бұрын

    You have to prep your plastics before you paint them. Scuff them up really good and spray on a layer of adhesion promoter before you paint.

    MrCHEVYBOI706 You are welcome. My banshee came painted that way when I got her. It is a metal speck green. I was a little hesitant at first to take them out into the woods but they have done surprisingly well. The only chips I have are from where I flipped it over in the rocks when the throttle stuck wide open on me using the old carb setup. I think they were professionally painted but I did spray the Raptor plastics myself using Dupli-color adhesion promoter and metal speck paint. Has held up great so far, the key really is in prepping the plastic and then using the adhesion promoter like I mentioned earlier.

    No but they have held up GREAT though. They are ITP GNCC Holeshot tires. Second season and they are still in awesome shape considering the miles I put on them. Need to get a new pair of rears though, banshee tends to eat them up pretty fast.

    The Raptor 700 is a heavy quad but actually surprisingly well behaved on the trail. That is a pretty rocky spot she was crossing there.
