Mikko is too good. Look how calm he is through the whole thing. He had to be hurting but it doesn't show at all, not in his execution, not in his body language. Guy's a machine.

As long they got a straight back it's OK to lift as they do up to the hip. After that they are USING their HIPS to get a momentum to get the bar to accelerate to the upperbody where they bend their knees to almost a squat position to get under the bar and look the shoulders with straight arms.

Power lifts are meant for just that, power. However, I will say that if you can maintain correct form throughout your workout, do whatever you want. These guys obviously know what they're doing. I just don't think someone brand new to lifting, much less Olympic lifting, should be doing this type of workout.

graham jumps too early, so there's a little bit of muscling the weight with the arms. that's why he gets tired.

Just do your research on what a proper snatch should look like and how it should be performed in order to put up a serious amount of weight. The dangerous part is, that snatching alone involves so much movement from the lifter that coaches will often break it down into 23 different movements to ensure correct form. Even, moderatly fatigued you lose form and risk serious injury. The men in this video are serious athletes, they may not get injured but the average 33 year old will.

I really love this movie. KZread is good for this sort of info.My homeboy was formerly bullied. He said he was about to get bigger. I chuckled at him. I didn't think he would.... Til unexpectedly he gained 40 pounds of genuine muscle. He tried the Muscle Building Bible - look in Google. Not a soul dares to intimidate the man these days. :-) I actually registered last week. See what will happen. Not to mention the mans emails are fucking interesting!!!
