Love our CrossFit community! This video highlights why gyms are so good, they are everywhere and they are run by passionate gym owners local in the community! *BUT* As gyms grow and evolve so too should how we present affiliates at a local level. For the newer gyms, the ones who didn't open 10+ years ago we need to evolve how we grow. CrossFit *is for everyone* but I don't think locally we can market ourselves that way. Each gym is unique, with a niche they serve well. *THAT* should be something we help local gyms recognize and take action on. If we can find out more clearly who we serve, more gyms will make it to 10+ year affiliate. And the more gyms are open, the more people can be helped.

If is really for the Community, owners need to work on making price fair for everyone in that Community.

What makes you say the price isn't fair? Do you understand the business side of running a Crossfit Gym? Show me one rich Crossfit Gym owner. Just one.

@@mattpeters6224 Is not about the owner being rich or getting rich. If I work at McDonald making $12 per hour, an adult with bills, I want to join a crossfit gym.. you think $140 to $180 per month an exciting price?

@@remanaze5 for the level of coaching you receive, it's a steal. Take a look at what it would cost you to have a personal trainer work with you 2 -3 times a week. Now take that monthly rate for CrossFit and divide it by the number of those 1:1 sessions. I guarantee you it is well worth it. I would also invite you to take a look at what it takes to run a CrossFit gym. It's not free. As an owner, we have to balance paying the bills, which includes our time and our coaches' time, with making our services accessible to as many as possible. It's tough.

@@keh0567 I totally understand it is not easy to be a box owner. I am not going to compare personal training with a crossfit box. Just because is two totally different services, one is as group the other one is personal. But I just want some consideration for the people that can't afford a crossfit membership which is super expensive for some of us. I understand Crossfit is very beneficial for someone health and it work.

this is what I don't like about CrossFit: always starting by shitting on other people's way of training and doing fitness. Pompous and divisive (as CrossFit founder Greg Glassman) and, more importantly, unnecessary. You can focus on improving CrossFit instead. Like anything else in this world, it is not perfect and it is not the only way to train and become fit although it is definitely a great way to do so.
