    Automatic transmission sealer works fine for lube on the CO2 canister, and is Far less costly. Says BB Pelletier. And it's been working for me. Thanks for the small fraction of a review, the gun looks quality.

  • @rustbeltairgun8718

    @rustbeltairgun8718

    ATF sealer's purpose is to soften the aged gaskets in a transmission, so that they seal better. I would be worried that it would damage the piercing seal in an air gun. Besides, Pell Gun oil is not that costly and a little goes a long way.

    Question - Does it work without the Co2 cartridge for BB's if you don't want to use pellets? And how long does a Co2 cartridge last for? Also wondering about the "medium" trigger pull. I have small hands with arthritis.

  • @rustbeltairgun8718

    @rustbeltairgun8718

    A CO2 cartridge is required for shooting both BBs and Pellets. You will probably get about 40 good shots per CO2 cartridge. I really can't comment on if you will have difficulties pulling the trigger, based on your hand size and arthritis.

    A few questions if I may, first at what distance from the target was this review made? Second, what ammo was used, BB or pellet? Third, how many shots on average did you get before any noticeable decrease in performance requiring a CO2 cartridge change? Lastly, could you do a pellet accuracy comparison using the widest variety of available pellets (Wadcutter, Destroyer, Domed, Hollow Point, Pointed, Super Point, Fast Flight, Piranha) from Crossman and Gamo (Hollow Point, Expander, Buffalo, Hammer, Hunter, Blue Flame, Lethal, Sharp Pyramid, Magnum, Master Point, Match, PBA Armor, PBA Bullet) to list a few options... Personally, I would be very interested in the results from a comprehensive test/review of this type. In closing, I will say "Thank you for your time and keep up the good work" I will subscribe and give this video a thumbs up. L8R G8R :-),

    Distance from target was 25 Feet using Umarex Precision .177 Caliber Steel BBs. I did not attempt to get a count of shots before decrease in performance. Maybe this is something I can do in future videos. I am currently in the hospital for cancer treatment and do not know when I can produce a new video yet.

    In response to your reply to the individual inquiring if he could put live 357 rounds in the SNR 357, since I own a couple 357s it was a simple matter of opening the gun safe and pulling out a box of 357 ammo to put the debate to rest. And the answer is... (Drum roll please) YES! 357 rounds will easily, dare I say even quite nicely fit into the chamber of the SNR 357. However, since the hammer falls onto nothing even remotely simmilar to a firing pin, I doubt that doing so would have any results. (Of course I did not tempt fate by pulling the trigger just to prove a point on some KZread video.) LOL Have a great day! Talk to ya L8R G8R :-).

    Crosman knows that air gun is worthless at more than 7 feet. They also know that the brown-tipped shells are totally worthless. I threw mine away. You have to use the full metal shells with pellets to make the gun fire best at 7 feet. Stuff toilet paper in the grips to stop the squeeks. The gun is gorgeous. It feels very comfortable and realistic in the hand, but it's a statue, a paperweight, something to get you shot or beat up if you go outdoors with it. I can't imagine why xman wants to ruin their reputation making it and foisting it on the public.

    I don't own one yet but I'm watching a lot of videos on it and I'm noticing that some reviewers can't hold their arms steady while shooting. I would think that with short barrel it would be totally dependent on the operation being steady or highly practiced for target shooting as with any short barrel.

    If this gun is so bad, I don't think Crosman would have even wasted money and resources manufacturing it..

    It is no good for shooting over 7 feet. It looks and feels nice. Stuff toilet paper in the grips to get rid of the squeak. I did, but it the piece of shit wouldn't flush down. Hefty. It's best suited for rec room shooting in a collector.

    You have to compensate, when aiming, due to the short barrel.
