I owned this rifle and couldn't get away with the lever action being so far back, sold it for a BSA ultra clx.

I am betting that you are well happy with your decision to get rid of the crossman for the BSA Ultra CLX. I own the BSA Ultra CLX and am very happy with it. I was thinking about buying the Crossman and as soon as he mentioned the blast discs it was a no chance and it was a definite No when i saw where the cocking leaver was placed. Shame really as i loved the Stock on the Crossman and that's the only good thing about it.

@peterhennessy9899 The stock was what reeled me in too but I've learned my lesson and now I will only be buying rifles that many have owned and vouch for. This is why my next rifle will be a Weihrauch HW97 as I'm looking for a good springer 👍

@@teespestquest you can't go wrong with the HW97 it's in a league of it's own. Great choice and a great Rifle. 👍👍👍👍
It cost 600 pounds? I guess if i was in the store I would be asking what else could i buy for the money. Even second hand , I might prefer a AA s400 or a hw 100 ? I have no idea of second hand prices in the UK. Oh and thank you for the video, Merry Christmas to you and your family.

@@Fiftypellets Do you know how much a used HW 100 or AAs400 cost?

Second hand a thumb hole hw100 between 6 and 800,laminate bout 800,black synthetic ive seen for bout 6, s400 6 to 800ish, bit cheaper for an older model, guntrader or gunstar dot Co dot UK might be of interest
Totally left hand due to the ridiculous positioning of the cocking lever, which used to be the traditional Bullpup place to plop it, so it's a big no _ no for me.. Accurate YES, good looking YES, but abysmal shot count for the range,. 22 would probably give you 50 shots based on your findings.. Looks a bit like my Mrs's Dream pup, which I find a bit small to use.. She's fine with it being umpa lumpa size.. All in all though, a TOP CLASS review, probably the best reviewer on the tube..
My first impression was "That Looks Nice", then from then on it went down hill starting with the fact I'm left handed, tbh the more I see the less I like from no thread on the barrel to the finish quality. A very comprehensive tell it like it is review Mark.one more thing I would be concerned with is the scope rail having no support at the front like a diving board so to speak I'm wondering what it's made from and would extending it cause stability problems?
Bonjour , je suis entièrement d'accord avec votre évaluation , même si j'aurais mis que 3 sur 5 a cause du support du canon qui est trop fragile ainsi que le support de lunettes . Merci beaucoup 👍
Hi Mark, really interesting review of the Benjamin Akela. Don’t think you have looked at the Hatsan Gladius bullpup yet; available at £520 it might give the Akela competition in terms of value for money. Mine is still leading in so can’t compare accuracy yet but that Akela’s barrel is impressive! Keep the reviews coming, Baz.
Mant thanks ! Very thorough review work, very science orientated, but possibly a bit too sophisticated for the larger public. Is the top pic rail plastic or aluminum ?
i will say you cant complain about the acuracy
Almost a carbon copy of the FX wildcat,at half the price of the FX it's a good effort because the wildcat I bought new left a lot to be desired.

It performed well on the day...thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. All the best and Happy New Year
It looks like an ordinary rifle action squeezed into a shorter stock.
Its a lovely gun but really back heavy once ya fit a scope, i still regret selling it though😢 i had a zero eye relief scope on mine and it made the balance even worse, it was a heavy scope tbf, bout a kilos worth😂

for me its a no go simply because its a rifle adapted to a bullpup stock the loading handle or side lever for a bullpup must be in-line with the trigger or its a modified rifle and crossman has taken the easy way out by not designing their own rifle and just rebranding turkish crap and unregulated makes no sense in the day and age when umarex make a 250 dollar notos that is regulated and no 1/2"x20 i mean come on
