Very similar story. Diagnosed with Crohn's in 2001. I did not respond well to any treatment. The meds and the disease thinned my hair out so much. I was embarrassed by the bald spots. I made the choice between that little old balding lady or being the cute one with a great wardrobe of wigs. I am more confident now and think I made the right choice. I am 75 and now exploring the world of gray wigs.

Erynn, this was wonderful. You seem lovely. I think that color is perfect on you, it really brings out your beautiful eyes and their unusual color. Thanks for reviewing this. It made me want to bring my On Point back out -- haven't worn it for awhile. 💖💖

Thank you for sharing your story. Great video. Yes, we all have our stories about why we started wearing wigs. For me, I started wearing them when I was in my teens because I loved the different styles and the luxury of having a complete look in an instant. I love my own hair, but I love wigs. Wigs are simply wonderful and a part of my wardrobe.

What wig are you wearing in this video? If you don’t mind letting me know & the color… You look awesome as you always do. Also, I love this chat talking about days in a funk… that is so helpful & definitely helpful to me. I have not purchased my first wig yet.. having a terrible time 😢finding a petite fit cap that does not look wiggy! I have contacted you before & will get back to you about Seint👍🏻… thank you Erynn.

I follow you on IG and it's good to see you do this and allow us to get a glimpse into your journey. I enjoy seeing you in the many different styles. I told my family I was going to start wearing wigs before ever buying the first one. It really helped and everyone was kind. I now don't hesitate telling people I wear a wig when they compliment my hair. They are always surprised. Thank you for mentioning manufacturer websites. It is the most underused resource out there!

I’m so glad I came upon this video. You are so transparent and honest. I’m much older than you, almost seventy four. My hair texture and density has completely changed in the last three years and has really done a job on my confidence. I always had thick, shiny hair and would get compliments often. I try to always look my best, but the whole hair thing is getting in the way of me feeling good. I’m ready to either get a topper or a full wig. Do you have any thoughts of experiences with toppers? Btw you are beautiful and I honestly thought that was your real hair before I started watching, looks amazing. Th you so much

Would love for you to have your own channel on hair style, make up, etc.! I first pined a hairstyle of you on Pinterest in my "favorite short hair" folder. I wished I could find more from you. Thanks for these video's on KZread! I too have super fine and thin hair with PCOS. Smoke and mirrors is my game. ;)

I so enjoyed watching this, Erin. I've been wearing wigs for about 3 years now, started with toppers and then wanted to make a color change so went straight to wigs. I have minor bald spots but I'm a bit of a perfectionist and it just wasn't cutting it for me. Once in awhile I will wear my own brunette hair with a little of that Joan Rivers good hair day that I brush onto my scalp in certain areas but that's not my Norm. I wear wigs after watching wig reviews but before that I went to a great wig shop that ended up closing so wig reviews are my go-to. I wear colors similar to what you're wearing here but I wear all different styles and lengths and textures. My approach has been to find one wig that I wear to work continually but every several months I tend to change it. The thing I'm struggling with now is wanting to wear all different wigs to work like I do on weekends. I work at a bank with customers and I'm on the fence about it but finally arrived at a place where I will do some minor wig change outs depending on my mood. I keep them within the same range of color and length but change up the styles. Jackson, athena, miranda, Mila, Serena, Cameron, Kristen, Harper, etc. I enjoyed listening to your story it's very similar to mine. I came out and told my coworkers listen I don't want you to think I'm weird or anything but I'm going to be wearing a variety of wigs and I'm hoping you'll feel comfortable being relaxed about it and seeing it as fun. That seemed to work. I love when they comment on my wigs! I just subscribed to your channel. I like how straightforward you are and your personality. Not to mention you look fabulous in that color and style!
