Yes, V-stitches are great for a summer top. I'm actually just starting to make one that partly uses V-stitches, although normal ones, not trebles (kzread.info/dash/bejne/nalktM2pg6vQXZM.html). But I will do it in a way that doesn't require shaping, a short tank top. But to decrease you need to put 2 stitches together so that you start 2 stitches, leave them half done before finishing them. Would be easier to show than explain!

Yes, this would work great for a market bag! For blankets and scarves it depends on how heavy you want it to be, double crochets are definitely warmer 😊

Tuala thank you for this. I've made a King size rectangle granny blanket. I will use this for the border to bring me down the sides of the bed it will be quicker. How do you think I should do the corners with this stitch. I've been making my corners 3 dc...chain 2...3 dc. Then I'll do sc all around and then use your border with the picots you did in yellow 2 years ago. Good idea I think using this stitch for quick border for your subscribers. Hello Ann Marie, sorry it's been long answering! Because this stitch is trebles, I would also do the corners using trebles, fitting several trebles in a fan shape in each corner. But there are of course many ways of doing this. You are right, this is a great stitch for a border and when you want something to grow fast! Trust your blanket is coming on well 😊
