Super cute 🤩. Glad you showed us how to do the magnetic clasp, I've not done that before. Make a nice pouch without the strap too 😊.

Ahh thank you! The magnetic clasps are amazing and super easy to use. I want to make one in black too, because you never have enough bags right 😆. A pouch is also a good idea though, too many options 🙈

Which phone did you make this for? Was it for an iPhone or Samsung? I want to make it for my daughter’s iPhone 13. The specs are 5.78” (146.7 mm) x 2.82” (71.5 mm). Will it be big enough for her phone? Thanks for describing how to make it bigger but I’m new at this. I really like your design with the card pocket on top of the case. I think that’s brilliant!

Hi Cynthia, you can make the bag any size you like, my phone is a Samsung 21+ and the bag is about 7" (18 cm.) in height and 4" (10 cm.) wide. If you want to make the bag higher than you make more chains in the beginning, if you want it shorter than mine then you start with a few less chains than I did. An easy way to check if the bag will be big enough is, after you crochet row 1, fold the work around the phone and check if you can cover the front, the back and the front again. If you want to make the bag wider then you make more rows and smaller than mine less rows. You are done when the work cover the width of the phone. Hope this helps, love to see your result! Have fun crocheting!

I have crocheted the rectangle using 94 stitches as instructed. The finished piece is 25 inches in length. That is considerably longer than any call phone I have ever seen two phones. where did I go wrong.

That is a pity, I hope I can help you. This can happen if you crochet looser than me, or your yarn is slightly thicker. Did you make the pocket in the flap as well, if you accidentally skipped this then that can cause extra length in the end result. You can solve the extra length by taking it apart until you have a big rectangle again, measuring the finished piece around your phone and mark the length you need. You can count the amount of stitches you need to get that length and then start over with that amount of stitches. Hope this helps a bit. If I can help let me know!
