I especially love the stage of this square when you tie the loops together and you suddenly see the actual square! Check out useful short crochet tutorials too: kzread.info/head/PL7vcNpUtI_RYAkQHfIOVo9sOlKBie20RZ
You continue to amaze me Tuula! You are a very good instructor and I have been watching you for years now and want to say thank you for all you do. God bless you.

Thank you so much, I appreciate that!
A nice variation on this would be to give a twist to the loops, but making sure they're all in the same direction. It's wonderful how creative we can be with just yarn and time

That's a great idea, twisting the loops! Could also try having every second loop going the opposite direction!
I love this! My grandmother tried teaching me to crochet about 40 years ago. I failed miserably. Now that I've found you, I'm loving it so much. It's kind of giving me the warm and fuzzy feelings of connecting with my grandma again. Thank you so much. 💓

Wow that was surprising. I have never seen this square before. It's very interesting and I love the way it looks. Thank you for this one Tuula. PS. My daughter said she absolutely loved her time in Finland and hopes to go back again one day. She has fond memories of being in lockdown with all her Finish workmates.

Well if that doesn’t look like summer! I can imagine a navy and white with touches of silver...a winter wonderland! Very nice! Did you design them, or did you find them in your search for the perfect pattern??

Yes, it can be adapted to any time of year! I have had this square in a drawer for years, I think I saw a photo of something similar and made one, then now adjusted the numbers of stitches quite a bit compared to the original one.
Olipas hauska versio.... täytynee kokeilla =)
