I also loved the word of encouragement at 43:35, made me feel so confident in myself to try out more patterns I've been too scared to try!! I do have a broad back and was worried it won't fit, I'm glad there are different sizes and can add extra rows where it is needed!! love this pattern and would love a pdf version as well!! you are my favorite crochet youtuber, super easy to understand (especially for lefthanded people like myself! ^.^), and beautiful patterns!! much love!!

I'm a beginner, I think I am getting better and I so want to try doing this top but I'm worried I'm not gonna fit into the sizes, I am plus size, and my waist is not big, however, I have a rather big chest, I hope I can make it work for me! The other worry I have is that I have either 4 mm or 5 mm hook. Is it necessary to have the 4.5? Your videos are great, thank you for being so awesome and sharing your talent with us! EDIT: I've used the chart to determine I gotta go up for the bust, and I've seen the comments that the size 4 hook is gonna work! I'm excited to start this project!
@ABoCStudio
2 жыл бұрын
Ohhh i'm so sorry for this late response 😭. Did it work out for you? Yess the 4mm would work too, and if you want the piece to be a bit bigger without having to make changes in the pattern, you can use 5mm hook together with bigger yarn (aran/medium instead of Dk yarn)💞💞💞 let me know how things go🥰
@junkeysama

@@ABoCStudio after finishing one piece I gave up, it didn't go too well, I think I might know what's the issue, but I lost motivation a little bit. Thank you for replying!
Wonderful top. I love it ❤. I have a different yarn and hook, the yarn is thinner, and the hook is 3 size, If I follow the patter it would work ? Or do I need to add more chains ? Ty for your attention ❤
@ABoCStudio
Жыл бұрын
I recommend you to go for an upsize! But if you have the 5mm or 4.5mm hook, you may not need the upsize 😉
in the future would it be possible for you to include measurements for the actual pieces? it doesn't have to be for each size but just for reference how big the section you made is. or show how to measure like you did with the cat ears hat (for example, for the cups they should reach from x spot on your side to x spot on your chest) i am a beginner and i get anxious over whether or not the sizing will match up, and i don't want to make the whole thing only to realize it's too small/big because i didn't know how to size it. that said, thank you so much for making this easy to understand and explaining the stitches and counting process!! making this in white/brown ribbing

Thank you for your suggestion 💞 I will definitely put estimate real-life measurements into the pattern next time🌟🧶

i love this corset and tutorial but have a few questions! i’m not sure if i’m a medium or small and was wondering what size a 34 inch bust and 30 inch waist would be considered as? i also would like to know if this top would work with size 4/worsted weight yarn? thank you!

hello, I love your tutorial, I just had one question: I'm supposed to be small in my measurements, but when I followed the pattern, the first piece didn't end up on my back, should I make a larger size? , another question , at the beginning you put that there would be 13 for the first chain , but in the end I end up with 12 stiches , should I make a change in the pattern or am I following it wrong ? , Thanks a lot:)))))
@ABoCStudio
2 жыл бұрын
Hii, tysm love 💕💖 And for your question: 1, it depends on how well the Small fit on your chest, if the cups are the perfect size for you then you shouldn't go up a size. What you can do is to work more rows of single crochet (Sc) for the lace up back until it enough to cover your back as wishes✨ 2. As you can count in the written pattern, from the beginning to row 10: we work 2 Dc in the same stitch 10 times in total (everytime we work 2st in the same stitch our crochet piece increase by 1st) means we increasing 10 stitches. And then, from row 15 to the end we skip 1 stitches 10 times in total, means decreasing 10 stitches. So with whatever number of chain we started with, we're gonna increase 10st and then decrease 10st to go back to the same number of stitches at the end. I hope this is helpful. Feel free to reach out when you need me 🥰

Thank you so much for this tutorial!😍it’s so pretty I wanna make but I only have cotton yarn in size 4.. Will the pattern still work with it?
@ABoCStudio
Жыл бұрын
Yes its still gonna work w yarn no.4 its better if you have 4.0mm hook (instead of 4.5mm that i used in video) 💞 if you dont have 4.0mm hook you can consider to go down a size 💖

I'm a medium with big chest area so I didn't know how to go for this ??
@ABoCStudio
2 жыл бұрын
Hi there💞, You can go up a size (pattern for L ,in this case) for the cup pieces and then use Medium pattern for the rest of the top. There shouldn't be any problems, bc the cups are only different in the number of chain, and have the same number of rows as the belly pieces. I made one for my friend with bigger chest n it was great💕💕 For thin yarn, I would suggest you to go for 5.00mm hook instead of 4.5 as the video suggest . keep in mind that thinner yarn would create lacier fabric (personally i love lacy fabric🤩) If you want the fabric to be less lacy go for 3.5mm hook and go up a size for the whole top I hope i made sense, feel free to ask further 💗💗💗

I followed the pattern for xl but i feel like its small width wise. The rows for the cups seem to be less so i need to add another patch for the back. Otherwise it’s very detailed.
@ABoCStudio
Жыл бұрын
Yesss that’s very smart 💕💕🧶 There're a few more ways you can adjust the pattern there, Im gonna put it here in case you want another attempt: 1. add more rows from the side for your current works its going be fine as long as you keep the same number of stitches and how much row you added to the cup pieces make sure you added the same to the belly pieces. Or 2. As long as the cups are good enough to cover up your breast, keep going with the pattern and when you work "siding for the lace up back" extent the side as much as you prefer it to be. Or 3. when you first making the cup pieces and the belly pieces, after Row 2 of both these, repeat row 2 for as much as you want to extend the side! Then proceed as pattern
hii! is the complete written pattern available anywhere? it would be really helpful! thank youuu

Row 19 is pretty much the same as row 3 (only different the number of stitches) so if you don't understand row 19 pattern you can go back to row 3 and see how i did it 💞💞💞 If there is still anything you find hard to understand please let me know, I'll help you out 💖

Lo siento por este inconveniente. Ahora mismo aún no tengo subtítulos en español. Sin embargo, intentaré descubrir cómo apoyar a la audiencia española como tú. ¡Gracias por su interés! Amar. (Tengo esto traducido por Google)
