Crochet coiled basket tutorial, easy basket making
This is 2 of my favorite basket making techniques combined into 1. Let’s make a crochet coiled basket. In this tutorial you will learn the basics to crocheting over cotton filler cord that is typically used in coiled basketry.
Materials needed
12 ft of filler cord
50 m of Bobbiny’s 3mm braided cord
6-7 mm crochet hook
Darning needle
Scissors
Stitch marker
* measurements are close approximations for a small basket, double the cord amounts for a large basket

Yes, I agree. Hard to follow what is going on as a beginner. Not helpful for me.
what brand/where can you purchase the 12ft of filler cord? i have lots of bobbins, just trying to figure out what filler i can use. it’s not mentioned in description.

For 3mm braided cord I used a 6.5mm hook.
