Love Croatia :-)
Greetings from Korčula, one of Paradise Islands in Croatia!
Wow love this, and for me some weepy nostalgic moments in Split and Dubrovnic. My last trip there in 1972 with mum, dad & husband, all three now passed away. Dad did all the driving from UK and we camped making a few overnight stops. Previous to that trip we went in 1966 and 1969. Not so touristy then!
Fell in love with Croatia in 2018 when we stayed in Cavtat. Can't wait for our trip to Pula next month. Beautiful country, lovely people and so much to see. Great video.
I'm so glad your friends took you outside of Zagreb into a remote village far from typical tourist hot spots... Northern Croatia is basically unknown to most people visiting. A literal jewel.
I ❤️ Croatia 🇭🇷 Have visited travelled to Croatia twice and will definitely return. Have stayed in Trogir, Split, Brac, Korcula, Hvar & Dubrovnik. Loved seeing some of those places again. Great vlog dude 👍

Popular for its spectacular seafront location on the Dalmatian Coast, coupled with its evocative and historic Old Town district, Dubrovnik is home to Croatia's artistic and intellectual elite and offers numerous cultural activities and festivals.
We went to Croatia in April 2019 and it was not crowded and weather was great. The sea was not the warmest then but still o.k Dubrovnik was so quiet but a few days before we left the cruise ships came in, and very quickly became more crowded. The shop, restaurants told us the Mayor was going to cut back on the amount of cruise ships but this was disputed as tourism was essential for the economy. We were glad to be there when we were and loved it.
Beautiful country, thx for sharing your travels.
Thank you Karl, 40 years ago I had my first holiday in what was Yugoslavia. Beautiful scenery and beautiful weather and always thought I would return, sadly didn’t happen, but now I have your memories to make me smile 😊
Nothing quite like exploring Europe in the summer. I miss it so much. Hopefully we’ll be back soon. - new Canadian viewer

@@Lyraxhaze I would disagree. It can get pretty crowded even in October. Specially before Covid when more Chinese, Japanese and Korean tourists used to visit. And specifically in Zagreb, Split, Dubrovnik and Plitvice Lakes. Matter of fact, we were just in Split one weekend this past November 2022, and it was packed in the old town Split.
Absolutely stunning!! Thank you Karl for your amazing adventures !! My husband and I have had 🇭🇷 Croatia on our go to travels but even more so with the beautiful little towns within Croatia;) that you explored!

Really nice vid man. I'm currently in Croatia and exploring pretty much the entire country from April to October before we settle down on the Dalmatian Coast. So far I'm so impressed! This place is stunning. The people are welcoming and cool. The food is next level yum. And coming from New Zealand which has been smashed by crippling 'laws' since you-know-what in 2020 - this place is so much more vibrant, alive and free. Love it.

we Croats still don't have the euro€ ... our currency is the KUNA !!! ... they are preparing for us the introduction of the EURO without a REFERENDUM(the will of the people) ... then the COLONIZATION of my Croatia by the West will be complete ... I think that, from then on they will start seriously taking OUR resources .. now, while the people are focused on WAR IN UKRAINE (EUROPE) they are preparing a law on WATER (CROATIA is the second richest in water in Europe) ... to make it clear to you, the state of my country (WORLD-GOVERNMENT-PEOPLE) is similar to that in LIBYA, IRAQ ... and lastly AFGHANISTAN ... which are colonized countries closer to Europe, it is the exploitation of the REFINENCE (not as rude and direct as towards the countries of Africa and Asia)
Our intelligent and charming women are our biggest treasure♥️

no, that won't happen because there would simply be too many people. Even with such high prices, there are a lot of people and UNESCO is threatening many Croatian destinations that they will lose their protection if the number of tourists is not reduced, so it is being tried with high prices and I am afraid that in in the future it will only be more expensive because there are more and more tourists
i really like your videos and love the view in 🇭🇷
