This is so much better than any of the 'celebrity' travel shows on TV these days. The places are equally beautiful in both of course, but you are just supremely talented, and it shows. Great video.

No other vlog, movie or whatsoever has done justice to show Switzerland except you.

This is the only travel video I"ve watched that actually made me wanna travel to the places shown. Your parents did a great job by taking you kids there and your mom's a true inspiration!

I like how shes always smiling and enjoying herself.

I had 6 glorious days based in Gimmelwald last July and as a solo female traveller, I felt really safe hiking around alone. Breathtaking landscape, immaculately clean and extremely well organised hiking routes and transportation. It is pricey to eat and hotels are expensive but hostels are available too if on a budget. Can't recommend going there enough, worth every penny of any expenses!

Just returned from Switzerland. Miss it so much. Your video was perfect as it was a reminder of where we were. Booked to go back next summer. I adore Switzerland. Thank you for the reminder of the perfect summer we have just had.

Most beautiful country in Europe. I went there this autumn for a week to Adelboden and we made a daytrip to the Oeschinensee. Probably the greatest views I have ever had

I love switzerland too, I made the summit of the Matterhorn in August 2020 in the middle of the pandemic! loved it

My wife and I visited Switzerland specifically the Jungfrau region just this week. Although we didnt really hiked as she is 7 mos. pregnant, we were able climb most of these mountains using the various lifts, gondolas, cable cars, etc. Watching your video gives me chills since we consider our Switzerland trip the most memorable one of all the places we have been to. we will definitely be back soon. Best Switzerland video ever! First went to Grindelwald in 1977, and have been back a dozen trips (from the US). You are blessed to have parents taking you all your childhood and youth years hiking. Your mum looks like she’s fit as a 30 year old, incredible inspiration. Planning to head back this summer and I can’t thank you enough for the timing and commentary of all the spots you hiked and travelled in this video. The Berner Oberland region is the most beautiful place in the world. So many memories seeing this video. I’m thrilled that I subscribed last year to your channel. God bless.

The first time I experienced Swiss National Day, I was driving from Zurich to Lugano in 2000, totally unaware of the significance of the date, when fireworks started erupting throughout the valley. It seemed like they lasted for 2 hours. It was one of the most magical experiences of my life.

Im born and raised here. No better feeling to be a part of nature. in fact i am the mountains and the lakes. Im so happy to be back

Oh wow.. we went to Switzerland in 2019 and spent 14 days hiking that glorious country. Lauterbrennan,murren, wengen, zermatt, grindelwald are the most amazing towns I’ve ever seen.. wonderful video friend

You've inspired me Karl! After seeing this video over a year ago I began dreaming and then planning my own Alpine adventure which is now only days away. I'll reiterate the comment I made here at the time: This is hands down the best travel video I've seen, showcasing your practical skills and personality, giving viewers the best sense of being there. YOU have such a presence and you could feel your emotions in your presentation. I am going back in January after my first May trip to my favorite country. YOU hands down have had the best video presentation. Kudos to your mom btw. Thank you so much!

I used to live in Switzerland in the mid 90s, adored it. Went back in 2019 with my girlfriend, did Grindelwald and Wengen and Schilthorn. Unfortunately most of those were very cloudy or even rainy! Grindelwald kinda cleared up a bit though near the end, like you. We also did the Bachalspee. Our rest of the path was different but we did also go to Kandersteg to see Oeschinensee, where my girlfriend became my fiancée! 😆 Watching this and seeing the views is making me miss Switzerland so much. If you get the chance, I'd recommend having a look at Leukerbad and Crans Montana as other possible destinations! - edit 2: lol, you did go to Leukerbad. edit: I got to the Oeschinensee panoramic shots and I'm almost crying. It's bringing up such emotions.

Just like you, I also have my best memories there from my childhood as a child, adolescent and adult.
