Love this video! I can tell that you've learn plenty during your bootcamp, Jane. By the way you broke down your case studies you definitely got a good sense for intuitive design but most importantly instinctive design. Can't wait for your future workkk!

This was so helpful because I already planned to update my portfolio this weekend. Can you do a video on how you did the video gif and how you negotiated your salary as a new designer? Thanks

Good luck on updating your portfolio! As for the gif, I actually created a short video and used a website that turns it into a gif: ezgif.com/video-to-gif. I definitely want to make a video about salary negotiation in the near future. Thanks for your request! :)

I use procreate! It's a flat cost, and totally worth it for ux and other things!

Glad I could help! I use Squarespace and have only used Squarespace. It’s not perfect, but good enough haha. I also create a lot of visuals in figma (e.g my Swoonbox case study) which make it more flexible.

Though about getting an iPad for sketches rather then hand writing them, what app do you use for your sketches?

Hi! I totally recommend using an ipad. I had an old one someone handed down to me and it works fine for sketching. I use procreate. I think it's a one time cost of $10 on the app store. I also use procreate for making my thumbnails and art work so it's very versatile.
