Ive gotten invited to exam for the LAPD in a few weeks, i have no experience and I'm freaking out. Also, does anybody know what kind of physical exams they put you through? Eye exams? I have 20/80 in one eye but 20/15 in the other and 20/15 combined
I need this test

Happy to hear that it helped!
I applied for a dispatch position just recently and I was just told yesterday I have been selected to move forward but I have to take a CritiCall examination. They are only giving me a week to complete it and after doing some research I am low key freaking out that a week does not seem like near enough time to prepare. Does anyone have any recommendations? Any help is appreciated thank you!

Who would want to do this. It sounds so stressful. How do you sleep after a 12-hour shift of people freaking out on the other end 😢 wow
Is this the same as the critcall test in FLORIDA for Communication Trainee?

Did you pass this stage?
The dispatcher didnt ask if there were weapons involved or if she was able to get away from him 😭😭😭.. Ive been dispatching for 3 years, that call was pretty accurate, i have to take a criticall test for a new agency. Is the test this easy? Im super paranoid i might mess up since i have alot riding on this job right now

Most find it challenging. You will be graded using three metrics: keystrokes-per-hour (KPH), words-per-minute (WPM) and percentage scores.

Hey... I used it and it was excellent. I found that the purpose was to get people thinking about emergencies and typing at the same time. This was by far the best program that I used. As an experienced dispatcher, you know to ask those questions, but this test is not about that. As stated below, you're graded on those 3 areas, not posing the best questions. You will learn the best questions in real training. I hope that that helps :) It's a fabulous practice program.

@@Abrackz569 well i was already dispatching so i had some experience..i took the test for 3 different agencies, it was slightly different each time but super easy..so the test basically has 3 options like police, EMS, city (down powerlines etc)... so during the test a scenario pops up on the bottom right of ur screen and you have like 10 secodns to choose ems/police/city and then the main questions ur answering are also timed. Then you are timed on being able to basically read a map..like the buildings are labeled and it will ask "what building is on x and y corner"..has like 10 questions and u got 15 minutes total to answer..they can get really complex too so just make sure u answer it right. Then you listen to phone calls and have to fill out boxes with the info from the phone calls, they will give u the info randomly as u listen..just open a notepad on the computer and copy down everything they say and u will pass. Then you have to listen to random numbers/letters being read and then after 5 seconds it pops a box up and you have to put the numbers/letters it just read in the box...also the random questions popping up are happening during the whole test. It was really fast paced but nothing close to a crazy day dispatching. If you can just open a notepad and copy down the info and you will pass

@@callingyourphone1212 are you allow to open a notepad on the computer to take notes? I understand you are being watched when you take the exam.
