My order was divided into two shipments and most of the order was also delayed an additional two days as it bounced around the USPS. My first order included Blast of Silence, Harakiri, Blood Simple and Pinocchio. Blast of Silence was new for me and I found it to be quite interesting although the story structure is a little different with such limited dialogue. Blood Simple is a favorite of mine and the 4K image looks quite good. The second shipment just arrived last night. It included The Bad Sleep Well (DVD), Pale Flower, Lone Star, Vengeance is Mine, The Roaring Twenties, David Lean Directs Noel Coward and La Piscine. I am really looking forward to seeing Lone Star again because so few titles by John Sayle's are available on bluray or 4K. I have been watching all my films at home for the last few years so I missed out on most of the Oscar nominated ones this year. I am looking forward to seeing Anatomy of a Fall when it gets released by Criterion in May. I remember enjoying Dogfight (Lili Taylor is always solid) so that is on my list as well.

Great haul. I bought all those as well as Trainspotting and Apu Trilogy on 4k. I also heard McCabe & Mrs. Miller was an upgrade. I didn’t have any of the 4K sets on blu ray so it was a good time to buy.

James, I’m definitely interested in getting that Altman title since I have 3 other Criterion titles from him. I would be able to get at least a $15 store credit from The Exchange here in Indianapolis on a trade-in for the Blu Ray. I’m curious about the other titles as well.

While I enjoyed After Hours, I feel like the film was more about providing an experience, than having something to say. It's definitely a different beast when compared to Marty's other works, but no one can deny the craftsmanship that he puts on film, which is always superb, even in After Hours.
