i like the moment when they are talking to Eder - Ronaldo talks over the coach but the moment Santos makes the gesture to Cristiano to stop talking, he shuts up, and let the coach handle Eder.

Sir Lex taught him everything. He was very fragile minded and had less concentration during his early ManU time.....Sir Alex taught him Decipline. He also learned from Sir Alex many things. Not many players learn to pick up what managers teach.

agreed. Most evident when he missed his penalty in Copa America and was on the floor crying, while his teammates still had a chance to score their penalties, it was tied but they all look at their captain and they see him crying on the floor, while the next guy is about to take his penalty. Way to make them insecure wtf. And after he lost, has "retired". Then the most recent example when he lost vs brasil in yet again another copa america (they run one aparently every year now lol) , and then he said basically the organization was corrupt , that all brasilians paid refs and bla bla, he acussed conmebol of corruption, then the media quietly shut down this crying nonesense from Messi. He is a great player for sure, but holy shit Messi has a toxic personalty when the games get tight and there is a chance of losing, and ofc gets worse when he loses and starts pointing fingers, firing managers, getting players out of the national team because he doesnt like them or has personal issues with them (Mauro Icardi, top striker wasnt called to the argentine NT because he married the wife of another argentine footballer whos friends with Messi, that fiasco) and also now evidently in Barcelona too , with these embarrasements in Champions League, blowing 3 goal leads, in two years in a row, vs Rome and vs Liverpool. He is seen head down walking staring down the pitch and touching his face nervously. Hiding behind defenders and waiting to capitulate. For fun search Messi cam in champions league and see him walking all game in the most important game of the season in CL vs liverpool, and before that vs rome. And now he is declining and nobody dares to mention it, but age catches up to everybody. Phisically , Messi´s legs are done, he was walking his entire career and that worked in the past because he had explosiveness, but nowadays his legs are not the same and it´s very evident, the walking also increased , stamina is loweing down, he started suffering hair loss and the upcoming emotional battle with that, trying to hide it with his "Hitlerish-" current hairstyle. Emotionally Messi´s career ended when he Missed that penalty in Copa America. Argentina had all to win 2 worldcups , but sadly I believe Messi´s influence in deciding who gets called and whos not really undermined Argentine and the so called "Messi´s friends" that formed the 2016 Argentine NT for the Copa Americas and WorldCup in 2018. Leaving Icardi out was a big blow, benching Dybala because he plays in a similar position as Messi was also ridiculous, both these players were the current top scorers in their teams and leagues; (and in the same vein nowadays Barcelona, keeeping old players there just because Messi wants them) and benching and kicking out of the team players that Messi dilikes, for example Griezmann now. Messi wants to play with "Ansu Fati" and "Riqui Puig", the first one being an admitedly good player but super overhyped who in a couple years will become just another Masia name that didnt turn into what ppl were expecting from them and the overhype they doing will just do them badly for their career development. Soon they will get rid of Griezman, is clearly Messi has a personal problem with them, you can watch the akwardness of the trainings in the Barcelona TV and fan videos. Suarez and Messi go together like super pals, with Jordi Alba , Busquets and Pique , but akwardly when Suarez and Messi are together they dont look or talk to Griezman eventho he is right there next to them trying to fit in. This is also not a one time ocurrence, theres pleny of instances like this. ALso him not passing the ball etc. I could go on and on. Remains to be seen what Messi can still win in his career. Currently in Barcelona there seems to be problems, lost a lot of points vs low rated teams in La Liga and they might lose it as Real has a chance to take a solid lead tonight. For Argentine Messi realistically has one more chance to try to win a Copa America, but it will be very hard because the brasilians and in general the south american teams all seem currently stronger than argentine, if they decide to keep Messi´s aging friends (and this includes Messi himself not benching in some games or trying to play together with top player Dybala,....instead of benching him for a noname) I reckon there is no chance Argentine win the next Copa America, it will be either Brasil again or Uruguay / Colombia. And for the worldcup in 2022 Messi has simply no legs left to play that. I dont know about Cristiano Ronaldo either for 2022 WC, I mean he will be 37 I think and Messi will be 35. But based on phisically , the way they train and their mental health, I believe Cristiano will get to the WC in a better shape overall at age 37 than Messi at age 35. Cristiano won 5 Champions League and his only trophy hunger left for him is to win a World Cup, wich is very hard but i believe he will still play it. So will Messi , i believe both will play it, but I dont know if Messi will have any legs left by age 35, seeing his current decline in stamina , speed and phisicallity., while on the other hand Cristiano trains like he is 18 years old, trains more than pretty much every player in the world, said by his own teammates, at home Messi is playing with his 3 or how many kids hes got and his dogs and whatnot, Cristiano is lifting weights in his personal time all the time while also playing with his kids and what not. I have to make a pun here but ye Messi doesnt even lift bro. Age catches up to people depending on their life style and that is most true for top athletes (see Ronaldihno decline, and many other brasilians who partied too much). Messi is now in a mind-set of family, friends, Messi´s football friends and mandating and keeping hostage the teams where he plays, while Ronaldo is trying to win throphies in different leagues, and add to his tally. challenging himself in different leagues is something Messi has never done for example, he has not been tested in any other top league in the world. Messi has been part of only the success of one team, while Cristiano has been part of the succees of various teams across his career. Messi will stay home-grown Barcelona forever, he wont change his life-style because his kids are too rooted there "visca catluyna!"; it will be super interesting to watch how the forces in Barcelona will have to move to eventually say bye to Messi while he will fight against it. Imagine Messi playing in the premier league he would be demolished by phisicality alone. Or in the Serie A? League 1? I simply dont see it, and Messi wont challenge himself to that. The only other team Messi has played, Argentine; he has lost 4 finals where he could have given his NT a title, 4 finals. He was part of a great generation of Barcelona players, his "1st champions league" he played 1 game in 1st round , he wasnt the -main- man of that team, it was Ronaldinho´s team, Etoo´s team, and a fucking super stacked great team i could name them all. He won then 2 Champions where he was the main man; ands the last one where he got carried by Neymar in the most difficult moments of the CL. Cristiano was the main man in his 5 Champions League titles. Cristiano won already 2 National titles with Portugal , for his country, something Messi has not been able to, given pleny more chances (theres more copa americas than euro cups). Both players will decline, I havent seen Cristiano decline phisically the way I see Messi decline so i believe Cristiano will have a longer career at the top while Messi , I am not sure what they will do with Messi lol. Mentally he has hit rock bottom, while Cristiano is overhype. You can see the stark difference. Messi has aged, and his fans will have to accept it. And Messi´s mind isnt in the right state since he Missed that penalty in the copa, and retired. thats the truth. hope you enjoyed the read
