@Pedro Guedes I've seen clips too. I honestly don't find Pele on Ronaldo's and Messi's level. As of stats, 1. There was no good tactics-which I explained. 2. There weren't any good players there. Now, you'd say that the Brazillian league was the best league at that time. But, they still aren't anything compared to modern football. 3. Inspite of all this, Ronaldo has already surpased his goal tally, and Messi is going to as well. Before u say '1000 goals', they were in Tour matches, and matches with the army. Also, the World Cup, I don't get why he gets so much credit for it. Sure, he was their best player on the team, but Brazil won THE WC62 WITHOUT Pele.

The most gifted and complete player of his generation, hands down. This means on a scale of 1-10 in every aspect of the game from the defensive third to the final third he gets at least a 6. I have seen him make tackles that are worthy of only the most elite of defenders and seen him give passes that even the best midfielders could only dream of with both feet, elegant at times and savagely devastating the next. The only player that comes to mind when u have seen the wonders we were privileged to witness over the years is prime ronaldinho, they both posses an incomparable skillset, a box of tricks, u never know what u r going to see.

Cristiano in his prime was impeccable from the defensive third to the final third of the pitch, defensively making tackles, winning duels, making interceptions, defensive clearances, e.t.c to the midfield building up play and to the attacking third creating and scoring goals, with both feet, his head, whipping in crosses, e.t.c. This wouldn't even be a debate if u watched him pre 2009 as many of u barca fans are clueless of what a monster he was, we have never seen nothing like that in the history of this beautiful game and will probably never see anything like it. Cr7 had everything as a player at his disposal, u couldn't poke a hole into any aspect of his game, he was unreal, ardent premier league followers like myself know this but most of u barca lot only got to see ronaldo at real madrid or at the end of his mancester united career.

I hate this argument.... they always try using this vs Messi... Its foolish. Messi is shorter and thus he had to adapt a style that suits his body type, such is the case with Ronaldo. To say Ronaldo merely worked hard is slapping other players in the face who work hard. You can work hard your whole life and still only be mediocre at something. Both are adept at what they do through a mix of hard work and natural ability, period.

If he hadn't had the tendinitis injury before brazil world cup, we would have seen alot more of his dribbling and individual runs by now. He had to let go of dribbling and change free kick body composure and power in order to avoid injuries and prolong career. Many messi fans fail to understand what an injury causes to a players career.

Exactly, sadly the injury happened and we can't see him dribble and do tricks like in Man Utd days but he is a goal scoring machine now

Its a miracle that his left leg is of a sprinter and his right one is that of a footballer , never seen someone like this person in my life,his body is one of the miraculous things in the world.

Man it was so exciting watching Ronaldo in Man.Utd. I know his style over the years had to change in order to keep up with his age and with the goals to be honest but back when he was a winger at Man, Utd... young, fast, explosive full with flicks and tricks.. it was really joy to watch.

Prime Ronaldinho and Neymar comes close to prime Cristiano in having a vast array of skillsets. But in terms of completeness, I don't think even prime Ronaldinho comes close. For example, he does not have the heading skillset which is one of the most important skills for a team to have. This is one of the reasons why Ronaldo works on so many systems, league and international and clutch moments. Sure other great players including Messi can compensate through other skillsets but you cannot do that often in as many systems and as many moments. Like this, there are other skills and examples like the heading. Messi, prime Ronaldinho, Maradona and Pele were/are also quite complete but if you count in a hypothetical scoring system on a scale of 1-10 in every aspect of the game starting from defensive third to attacing third, I think Ronaldo is probably the most complete player not just in this generation but ever of course with my limited knowledge of past players. Combine that with effectiveness in big games, different systems and consistency, he is probably the greatest footballer of all time.

Just generally tbh, juve don’t play with a recognised no.10 or amazing full backs so Ronaldo has to a lot of playmaking. He would have scored closer to Lewandowski’s total in another team
