Foreigner tries Filipino Food at Rico's Lechon Cebu! 🇵🇭 Crispy Lechon for Pork O'Clock!

Ойын-сауық

Americans try Filipino Food! 🇵🇭 First Time Trying Filipino Food!
When going to the Philippines, I knew I had to find a lechon restaurant. And I heard Rico’s Lechon had some of the best lechon. So I found the nearest Rico’s Lechon and had myself a pork feast.
I mentioned I follow a KZreadr, Harald Baldr ‪@HaraldBaldr‬ And when Harold was visiting the Philippines he always said it was “pork o’clock” and then he would go eat pork. So, I thought it would be fun to have my own “pork o’clock” and try some other pork dishes, such as pork belly kare kare and pork bicol express, along with my 500 grams of lechon.
You will not want to miss this episode, as it has some of the best Filipino dishes at one of the most popular lechon restaurants. If you know where I can find a better lechon restaurant, be sure to leave it in the comments below and I’ll be sure to check it out on my next visit to the Philippines.
Thank you for watching and be sure to hit that like button. Also, I’d love to hear what you thought of the episode. So please feel free to leave a comment below. Have yourself a wonderful day and I’ll see you back in the next episode.

Nothing quite like crispy roast pork - it’s amazing across cuisines, from Filipino to Chinese to German even! I’ve heard Cebu is a haven for lechon and you can’t go wrong with many of the solid names there

I've heard similar stories of the lechon in Cebu. That maybe where I need to go next.

Pig's face is a crispy option you should try. 😀 Kare kare is always eaten with a bit of shrimp paste with every spoonful, preferrably the dark kind, for the full taste experience.

Next time try the Kinilaw (Filipino Style Ceviche). It predates the Spanish invasion in the 1600's
