Crisis Zone: Grassmarket District (PS2) - No Damage - 2,541,540
Ойындар
I've 1CCed regular Crisis Zone as well: • Crisis Zone (PS2) - N...
Gameplay starts at 2:03.
Here is a no damage, decent-scoring playthrough of Time Crisis: Crisis Zone's "Grassmarket District" level. This was played on the PCSX2 emulator, using a GUN4IR light gun. Enjoy!
Grassmarket District is basically a harder set of levels exclusive to the PS2 version. It's also canonical, story-wise, taking place six months after the original Crisis Zone.
The same score strategies from Crisis Zone's original arcade levels apply here: clear levels as fast as possible, and rack up high combos by shooting enemies, bosses and bits of the scenery. However, it's harder to combo in Grassmarket District because enemies are WAY more likely to shoot damage shots.
You can score higher than this--people have gotten over 3 million. I settled with 2.5 million; I think that's a solid PB for now, and in the future I can focus on beating it. I also really wanted to get a no damage in Grassmarket District, as there's not many videos of such a feat online.

Easily the best 'B-Scenario' type mode in a home port. Even if that list is pretty short as it is.
@Multibrawlr can you do Operation G.H.O.S.T. (arcade) 1cc all clear with no damage in description tips how to enable gun crosshair plus leave patch file to fix ranking not show the new high score and names
Strangely enough, I haven't watched much gameplay of this mode. Glad I changed that now. Crisis Zone had some really good destructible environments for the year it came out in. It looks so seamless, and it really adds to the feeling of mowing everything down with a machine gun. It's one of my favorite aspects of the game, along with the recoil on the arcade gun controller (if it works). Though I do wish the color palette on the PS2 version wasn't so drab; it's even making the red soldiers look a little too similar to the others. Other than that, it looks on par with TC2 on PS2. Heard of RetroAchievements by any chance? It's a website where users create achievements for retro games for players to unlock in-game. There's even leaderboards where you can display your high scores. Might make for a fun way to replay these games.

I much prefer the arcade version's color scheme. And yes, I've heard of RetroAchievements. Definitely could give some more replay value to these games, and encourage people to practice and improve.
3:25 RIP
They should have this special scenario on the remastered version of crisis zone arcade.
18:38 How inattentive.

I patched it out since I was playing via the PCSX2 emulator and wasn't using a CRT.

@@Multibrawlr A lot better honestly. Namco should’ve had an option to switch between flashing or the smoke tbh. Time crisis 3 had already come out by the time crisis zone released on ps2.
