I miss George Newbern as Sephiroth . He just nailed that soft yet menacing tone that perfectly captures the character. Tyler isn’t terrible but I just don’t feel his performance is nearly as good.

I agreed after Remake. George is way cooler. That said, after playing Rebirth, I think the new VA is actually better suited for the role. We think of Sephiroth as this super badass character that is very likable. But in reality, he’s a sadistic piece of shit who is super cruel. The way the new VA talks to Cloud and is psychologically manipulative is actually perfect.

@@thatstheway2429 I do think Tyler has improved since Remake but I’m just saying , I miss the old VA. George just sold me as the voice I imagined Sephiroth having ever since I heard his first line in AC (“Good to see you…..Cloud”) I do understand voice actors deserve a chance to work and we can’t keep the same ones around forever . It’s just my preference that George nailed and set a mile high bar .

@@_Gambitute I can’t disagree with you too much. My only critique of him, which is actually a compliment, is he made sephiroth *too* cool. Like if he was still voicing him I’d be rooting for him to win in the remake trilogy 😂 Fortunately, the best VA now for me is Cloud’s. His ability to be creepy in the temple section of the game sealed the deal for me.

@@pauljordan0203 No. it's a whole new game based off Remake's standard. But this one is focus on Phone's Ability because it's a Phone Focus Games. So graphic cannot be top notch like console which is stupid to me... They should have released True PS5 version & Phone version like Capcom did with Resident Evil 4. This one isn't cheap on PS5, $50 as well yet graphic is purely bad... that's why I never bought it on PS5.

@pauljordan0203 Its the same game that was on PSP, but remade in Unreal Engine and some QoL updates to make it more visually fit with Remake and Rebirth.

Its scene for scene identical to the Original crisis core for PSP. Its been graphically enhanced/Remastered using unreal engine and the voice actors are the same as those in the Remake series. The cinematics are the ones from the original game and are based off of the Advent Children cinematics

I've seen these three as a band of Heroes similar to Thor, Loki, and Tyr.

Genesis sucks. I bet he’d get his ass handed to him by Kid Gi.

If I was there I defeat everybody.

Sephiroth wasn't even using magic and still whooping his ass. Genesis wasn't that great, thats why Sephiroth came out on top.
