the company should ensure there are no loopholes and do proper testing, thorough understanding of their business/payment workflow. although these youngsters capitalizes on the company's mistake, i don't think we should blame them completely. if adobe has a license key bug and everyone discovers the loophole and uses their software for free, does that mean all of us are scammers? come on!

i think in the case of adobe, if you use personally the software for free, it's fine, the responsibility is on the company to tighten their regulations etc. it is, however, another issue to capitalise on the license key bug and sell it to other. this would constitute a scam as it involved cheating

if the company deducted the fare from the passenger first, then pays the driver. .. the driver can't make fake rides to get money. and also the system has to block the accounts of the passenger or driver after 3 declined payments.. to limit the losses to the company.. until the customer pay up.

Ya sia I was also confused coz I've never heard of this Super Ride b4. Until I searched u the scam and it turned out to be Grab. I think for the sake of copyright issues, they just made up Super Ride for this episode.
