I just got my mug press at Michael's Black Friday sale. This video helped me SOOO much, Rachel. Thank you!

Yes! Tape it up!!!! We had two mug presses gifted from my mom sitting at the house and I had never used it. I finally got around to using it and holy crap.. I caught the bug. I’ve made so many freaking mugs! I did mess up a few by not taping. Gotta tape! It makes a difference and It’s amazing how great they come out and how vibrant the colors are!!!

All are super useful tips! ❤️ and thank you so much for the tip on cotton gloves.. I am a bit shaky (and sweaty 🥴) at times, these will ensure I don't accidentally touch my sublimation sheets and ruin my project.

Thank you for the cardboard hack! I haven't used my press yet and thought maybe I needed to buy another type of press for the tumblers.

Hi Rachel - do you know what the temp settings are i.e. first setting 120c? second setting 200c etc. I either melt my polymer cups or I don't do them long enough. Someone told me to do polymer, they need to be pressed at 165 for 100sec's.

Hey i hope you can help as i have asked the following question on sooo many cricut mugpress videos and noone knows..... when you do a full mug image ( basically a full colour rectangle strip from 1 side of the handle to the otherside) are the edges both sides of the handle faded where there is not enough heat? just i have a different mug press and i know i can go maybe 1cm each side of the mug handle with the image but sometimes those ends are very faded where the heat is not enough at the ends. does this happen with the cricut

I just ordered a Cricut Mug Press and can't wait to get it. I was wondering can I cut the Infusible Ink sheets with a ScanNCut? Have you ever done a video on that?

Thank you !! Can you use the mug press with vinyl ? Can you do stainless steel and vinyl or I fusible ink? Trying to decide whether to buy a press or no And do not want to get into sublimation at all

The little piece of fabric is polyester to test the infusible ink on. Infusible ink doesn’t work on cotton.

I am still hesitant to buy it - a lot of reviews on amazon say that the machine stopped working after a while and that it's heating uneven and burning the material in places... does anybody have any feedback on that? I am thinking about waiting for an updated version (which will hopefully come at some point)

Hello, I just received the mug press from my hubby for Christmas:-), can I use any mug I have with this press, or do they have to be cricut only mugs?

They have to be a special kind of mug otherwise it won’t work but it doesn’t just have to be a cricut brand! They can be sublimation mugs but you have to have a specific kind of printer for sublimation to work!

As an artist, I need to know how to infuse my own art onto mugs.

I accidentally bought these infusible inks made for the mug press instead of the larger size infusible inks.. my question is what size are these mug press infusible inks cut to fit a mug for? like how many oz mugs?.. if that makes sense to you...

My issue is that CRICUT INFUSIBLE INK is not cutting properly, hard to cut? I have used all my roll & can’t get a good cut…any advice out there

The heat resistant tape is about 1" wide? If not, please tell me, because the link takes me to a package of assorted widths.

I have the Cricut Mug Press and was told that there was a chance that the card board wrap on the tumblers could catch on fire? I do use a strip of cut up silicone trivet to get excellent results. 😊 Also with your Membership would I be able to drop Cricut design space? Do you have your own design space? Thank you in advance

anyone tried using a mug press with a regular coffee cup and HTV or permanent vinyl?

how to avoid ghosting at the top of the mug? Tape isn't working.

When I was a little girl I wore cotton gloves to church and a doilies type hat ,lol

I love all your videos but in this video hack, you do not need to use the cardboard. The heat alone will be enough to sublimate the skinny mug. 😉
